 Can you live without your cellphone? Why not? How about if there is no computer or the Internet, do you think you can still survive? Is your cellphone a necessity to you, or just a luxury? Is a computer or the Internet as important as foods, that without them you cannot survive? Or you can still live even without them?

| kriszelunka (527) | 3 years ago | I do think they have become a necessity, especially computers. As a student, I don't think I could go back to doing entire chunks of research the old fashioned way.
Computers have made study much more accessible and easy.
They've also opened the doorway for communication around the world, which is great.
I guess the only thing we need to remember is to interact with actual people, and not rely solely on online communication. | |

With computer i can do anything.

There are things I can do in a computer that I can't do in a cellphone and vise versa. But I cannot deny that you can do your work comfortably in a computer or laptop than a cellphone, right? For me is very difficult to live without it. For exemple when I go to the sea, where I don't have a computer, I must admit that I miss it more then my friends!!!

| 9. suspenseful (16988) | 3 years ago |  I need my computer. I am a writer and I have bad wrists so I cannot write long hand for long without feeling sore. There are times when I need to find out something and our library is too far away, is only open certain hours, and a lot of the books are not up to date.
As for the cellphone, I need it for emergencies, but not for everyday use. However, if there were payphones available at the places I visit or I can use their home phones, then I would not need it. I still need both my computer and cellphone, they are not luxuries, but even if I did not, there will come a time when I do need them for certain things and would be lost without them. For instance if I went without my computer for sometime, my mail would pile up and if I did not have my cellphone and was stuck somewhere out in the park, I would need to let someone know where I was.

And cellphone has been my constant medium to stay in touch with my old pals.. So, I can't imagine living without it either... Both are absolute necessities for me...
