Which can't you live without - a cellphone or a computer? Why?

I can live without a cell phone but not a computer. I process the text in the computer (earlier I was doing it in electronic typewriter) for my clients and edit them, give it a shape. It is my business and as well my profession. Copy editing they call. Besides this, I also typeset mathematics of graduate level and post graduate level which is quite difficult to do in the computer, mainly because it is time consuming and requires mathematicsal knowledge. So computer with internet have become part of my life and I cannot manage without.

id have to say out of the two i cannot go without my computer... considering i do not have a cellphone or any phone for that matter. havent now for years. there are many times i wish we had a cell phone and god knows we need one now. or just a phone in genearl. but definatly the interenet... there are things to do with the computer and i can still keep in touch with eveyone i know and its just so much eaier and more convient and its about the same prince if not cheaper too...

I am sure I could still survive with no computer or cell phone,specialy the cell phone, when I don't have one and it seems like I don't need one.But I really like computer and specialy interent, while there are so many posibilites to do on the interent.Not only search for new information, but keep in touch with your friends, write emails or call.Also get education, earn some extra money, watch tv, listen radio..tehre are so many posibilities today.I don't think computer is luxury today, I think almost everybody can afford it, but if is neccesary stuff?No! If over paretns could live without it we could too, the life is just much more easier with internet.

Hey whats up. No i can not live with out my Cell phone. The reason is because i am never home my child might get sick and the school need to call me, and some jobs do not allow personal calls at work. As far as a computer go I be at work all day on a computer and when i do get a chance to be at home resting i would not even cut the one on i have at home.

I just can't live without my computer! As far as my cell phone, well, I just told my daughter she could have it, cause I don't like to carry it around with me! It was silly having a cellphone for it to be always here at home, so I think the phone will be in better hands now! So as far as I am concerned, the cell phone was just a pain, while the computer I love to use, mostly to write, communicate with family and friends, or to play games. Without a computer I feel kind of lost!

I can always live without a cellphone coz anyway we have a landline phone at home. But a computer is a must. I can always use the computer to text or contact friends. The computer has far more value than the cellphone that is why it is more expensive to achieve and maintain.

Well I have been living without a cell phone for 52 years now so I think I can go another 50 without one. That is unless they get rid of landline phones. Now the computer and Internet, I NEED. I am addicted to it and there is no way I could live without it. LOL>

These two are the most important thing for me in my life. Since I stay away from home cell phone is kind of necessary as my parents call me and in order to stay in touch with friends it is quite necessary for me as well. And as I'm a student I'm just looking for some extra way to earn some extra money. So, computer and internet both of them is kind of important to me. These two are my importance rather than the luxury.

Oh I would pick the cellphone to give up as i really only have it as an emergency thing but I couldn't even imagine life without my computer, for me to lose my computer would be like shutting the windows to the world hahahaha

If I had to give one of them up I think it would be my cell phone. There are lots of pay phones out there if you really need to call someone. I don't think that I would ever give up my computer. I do so much on it. I suppose if I didn't have a choice I could live without it of course, but I'd rather not.
