Which can't you live without - a cellphone or a computer? Why?

I couldn't live without my cellphone. It's in my hands all day and I use it non stop. My computer on the other hand is a machine that I don't use that much. Because of lightning I lost my computer once and had to (because of insurance) live without one for 3 months. It wasn't that hard really... People always think they can't live without computers but it isn't true. Once you HAVE to live without them it isn't that hard.

I think I cant live without my computer and internet, my work basically relied on the computer and the internet,so at the moment I cant lived without it..

I can live without a computer, for a few weeks. As for my mobile, it has to be in my pocket at all times. If I leave my phone at home I will actually turn back and get it, even if i'm a few miles away. Having my phone on me gives me peace of mind, knowing that I can contact and stay in touch with friends and family. Its quite useful here in the UK, as some of our one way systems are really screwed up on the roads, and Google Maps on my phone just helps that little bit. I am almost always texting people when I'm outside.

Some people seem to get annoyed with the fact that the phone comes before everything else though. During a conversation with a friend, if I get a text, I will more than likely pause the conversation and start tapping away on the little qwerty keyboard.

frankly i say no.....the way of life is now like that...... i can manage even without a computer... but i do know if it is possible without mobile

I would say both because my line of work needs both item. I'll explain why.

Cellphones:
Due to business related, most of my meetings and appointments will be first called to my cellphones. It's a very useful item to keep me updated and the notifications software build inside cellphones nowadays are brilliant. My parents use cellphone all the time and if they need to get me, they have to use a cellphone since they're not IT literate and kinda old school.

Computer:
I need to open my email through a computer and its easier to surf and do stuff like graphics and such. Since I'm a programmer, I cant just do programming using a cellphone cant I? So there comes the computer part where it's so useful for a programmer and we nee this thing like we need an oxygen tank to breath.

I can live without them. However, I will miss the net more.

Nooo... i'll die without my cellphone... LoL. My cellphone has already become by best buddy. I keep it with me everyday. However if there's no computer or internet, i tink i could still survive cause i'm not dependent on the computer. I think that my cellphone is a necessity to me cause i use it everyday. Nah computer and internet are nt important. I can survive without a computer but nt with food.

well i guess i cant leave without internet than cp since u can also use phone if u dont have cp..

i can use internet to communicate with friends and family and even meet other people from other country.. u can also use headphone and webcam so u can hear and see them... unlike cp.. cp is good for messaging and calling only for infact u can do both using internet.. in internet u can absorb a lot of information that will help u... u can watch movie online, listen for music, and even online television... internet is very helpful..

I could live without a cell phone; however, I cannot live without my computer. I know this is so cliche but my whole life is basically wired to the computer; it would be very difficult to give it up.
