Please help me understand....

Oh My Gosh! gtargirl, Fridy was SUCH a saga!! And to top it all off, I'm not sure if I have tickets or not!!!! My husband did call, got us 3 great seats (we're taking his cousin with us). Then, my sister who needed 18 tickets for the evening show - we're going to the afternoon show - needed to use my credit card because you can only order 8 tickets at one time. So, I give her my card so she can get the rest of her tickets - she only needed my card for 2. Well, she calls me later when it hits her that she had to use my card at the last minute for 8 tickets, not 2. Not a big deal on the money end, but when you order 8, any other orders on that credit card are deleted!!! Which meant MY 3 ticktes would have been deleted!!! I was sooo mad at her!! BUT, when we finally got ahold of Ticketmaster, they said that it's 2 different showings - 3 tickets for the afternoon show, 8 for the evening - and the limit is 8 per show per person, so we're ok (I HOPE!). I don't know how long it takes to get the tickets in the mail, but I'm hoping I get mine!

Yikes! Ordeal is right. But you get to go!!! Oh my gosh! I'm jealous, I'm jealous, I'm jealous. Wait . . . one of my guys friends, out of the blue, asked if I was going to this year's TSO concert. I said no and we had a discussion on how awesome they were. I wonder . . . Nah! You'll have to share details.

Yes, they are VERY "Queen-ish", classical rock type. Before they were Transiberian Orchestra, they were Savatoge. They first released "Christmas Eve in Sarajevo" (pardon the spelling here) as Savatoge and quickly found that people loved it and changed to TSO. MOST of what they do is Christmas stuff - that I now of they only have one non-holiday CD, the Bethoveen one. I listen to the music all year long, it's great stuff. They only tour during the winter holiday and mostly do the Christmas stuff. This will be my 4th time seeing them, and they do a different "story" every time. Each CD is a "story" and the music goes right along with the story in the cover. They do a FANTASTIC show!!! You have got to go see them, it's just AMAZING!

um... nevermind, check them all out - I was going list them all. It's just great stuff. And live... WHOA that's all I can say, they are just great performers. And it's loud and you FEEL it, not just physically, but emotionally too.

OK, I'll stop rambling. Oh, and no, we haven't gotten the tickets yet, I need to find out when they ship them. They did charge us for all of them though and we're pretty sure they ok-ed both transactions since they were 2 different shows.

You know what else they remind me of? Do you remember Hooked on Classics? Kind of an updated version of that, don't you think (at least the ones without singing)? And less hokey?

No idea how I missed the Beethoven one, as it is third in the list on Amazon. Sad. I am working my way through the sound samples now. I actually played the first one on the piano years ago (more of that piece in track 18 too).

Thanks for the link to their website. The guest performers they have had are all people who have impressed me in the past. And as far as the videos go, now I get it. There's a lot more going on on stage than just a bunch of musicians playing their instruments. Neat! Thanks for the education! I hope your tickets show up soon!!
