The last Yard Sales of the seasons  

OH I WISH we had decent "end of the yr" yard sales goin on..I bet the deal would be FABULOUS (sounds like you did well!).....I should actually check the papers and see if there are any goin on in the nearby towns come to think of it...I know on the way to and from Joann Fabrics today there were signs up for yard sales but I dont know if they were new signs or left overs since i wasnt really paying attention....

Yes, there are some yard sales to be found. I absolutely love them! Today I went to one and found some cool old necklaces ... I make jewelry ... so I like to take them apart and make new ones. I also found some huge frames for paintings that someone sold me for $1 each. I'm going to paint them gold. I also found a bead box with brand new beads ... so I was in my glory!

I haven't been to any yard sales this year, I myself only had one and I didn't do too well. I really want to have one more but the weather keeps getting colder and I always work on the weekends so I doubt I'll end up having another one. I really want to do one so I can get rid of everything, pretty much an everything must go sale! But who knows if I'll be able to do it.

You did very well for yourself. Yes, we have yard sales and garage sales almost every weekend somewhere.. trouble is when there is a yard sale I have no money. I love to look though. I got a nice toaster for $1 and it is perfect. It's a pretty white one... it's fairly new too.. I just don't understand why someone would just give it away for a dollar.

watch what u buy at theses sales sometimes you can find things that people dont know what they got and can resell it on ebay for more u would be surprised lol forgot to read your whole blog first i dont get out to many of these sales but i love them just the same

Sadly, I haven't been to a yard sale all year due to the fact bills come first and sometimes don't even have enough for gas for 2wks. Sales are still very much active but will wind down by Nov. here with a few here and there till spring hits again.

On my way home yesterday I got a brand new Disney Piglet back pack at a sale.The trouble is I think I'm going to keep him, I just love Winnie The Pooh.

You sure did get some great bargains. It sounds like you had a fun family day aswell, which is great. We dont have many yard sales around here, but sometimes there is. But yesterday i went out of town to an auction, and got a couple of bargains, which was good.

Wow you found quite a few cool things! I really haven't had the chance to go to many yard sales this year, and I'm kind of bummed out now. But oh well...next year I will make sure I go to more! Lol. I love garage sales.
