how beautiful is dubai?  | |  I am a filipino who would want to go to dubai someday. have you been to dubai? I already have some friends who are living there but I just can't convince myself to just go there and all. i have lots of questions going on my mind. like is there a football team there for women? are we allowed to drink alcoholic drinks? is it expensive to live there? is it secure? are they str ict? in what certain extent?

But lately, my parents who are still there are starting to complain with the increase cost of living there. The housing and food are starting to get really high but most companies do give high wages and housing allowances.
Football team for women? I don't know of any. But there are a bunch of public parks there where you can play soccer and you can probably organize a soccer team of filipinas living there. Dubai is a lot less strict compared to Saudi and it's neighboring states such as Sharjah. You're allowed to drink alcohol in this emirate but don't expect to find SMB anywhere; Heineken beer is what's usually drank there. Alcoholic beverages are also cheaper in the airport's Duty Free so stock up before leaving the airport. Feel free to ask me about Dubai. I hope that helped.
