honestly i think that is a cute idea. i like it. it's simple and different. i'd go with that idea.

Why not go naked and say you're a baby...or a babe.

Why not shove two straws up your nose and say you're a walrus.

Why not drape a green curtain over you, hang some things from it, put your feet into two shoeboxes wrapped in Christmas wrapping paper, but the umbrella hat on your head, and say you're a Christmas tree.

I'll think of some more.

Shave your head and go as an alien.

Hold a grocery list in your hand and go as a long time married woman.

Hmm, take a handkerchief, or some Kleenex, take on a nasaly twang, and...

I think that's a pretty cute idea!

Another even more simple "costume" would be to go in your normal work clothes. When someone asks what you're supposed to be you tell them that you are a serial killer or a disgruntled employee..."They look just like everyone else", follow it with an evil laugh.

You know the round cardboard tubes from gift wrap paper?...get one of those and wrap it with red and white (or your color of choice, ha) ribbon like a barber pole.......that can be your swizzle stick!,..lol!!

I once felt the same way and my son needed a costume. I took a black garbage bag...took duct tape and gathered it up in the inside with the tape and he went as a California Raisin...and won first prize!

Cute and simple. At least you made the effort, it doens't have to be complicated!
