Are we all excited or what? I know its not one of the funnest things to door walk door to door asking for candy. But we all know the kids like it so what time does it start in your city? Does your city have a time limit for the kiddies? Here we are only allowed to trick or treat from 6-9pm. And at what age do you stop allowing your kids to trick or treat?

I spend the day working and I'll spend the evening watching movies and television. We don't have trick or treaters because i live in single homes without much neighbors. Plus I live in a garage. But I love horror movies and I'm so excited to watch me some horror movies on halloween, not that it's unusual. I watch them a lot.

My kids are so excited, so I try to be too. Trick-or-treating seems to start around 6:30 or 7:00 in our neighborhood and goes to about 9 pm. I don't know that we have a law or rule about it, but that seems to be about what works for the parents and kids. My girls are only 6 and 4 years old right now, and I don't know what age I'll make them stop going trick-or-treating. I guess we'll have to play it by ear and see what seems right. Have a safe and happy day!

I love Halloween, I know I never outgrew it,lol. It's my favorite holiday. I was so excited for it, I think more than my kids to be honest. We just usually trick or treat for about an hour in my neighboorhood then go home and pig out on the candies and watch scary movies together (:

The children come to our door around six pm and it does continue until nine, but then it is mostly the older kids as well as the ones who dressed up in different costumes so they could get their bags filled twice. I won't be giving out the candy, my husband will. He believes in Halloween, to me It is Reformation Day and I will be doing choir practice at Church. We usually get between one hundred and two hundred kids as there are a lot of families in our neighborhood.

Maddy and Ashley - Trick or Treating in the neighborhood!
We had a blast trick or treating last night. It was the first time for my son to take part and we went around our small neighborhood with another friend in his class that lives near us and they thoroughly enjoyed it. Their pumpking buckets were full to the max:)

Trick and treating was 4-7 pm here. I was going to take my daughter out but then realized she is 9yrs old and flies up and down our road 20 times a day so I let her go on her own for the first time. She ended up joining her g/f down the street and walked with her and her mom. I don't really get into the Halloween spirit like I used to. Just a few pumpkins out on the deck is all.

Thank heavens my kids are grown. Now they have to deal with it with their kids. I always took my out when they were little around 6 to 7 pm. But as they got older I noticed more and more older kids (teens) going around. Then there were also the carloads of kids that I did not like. Halloween should be for the little kids not kids whose voice is changing. But that is just me.
