Do you sneak your kids Halloween candy?  

i have been doing the same, not too much im sure they will not motice but i will tell them, they are 6 and 4 but know what im like. the way i see it, is id rather have some of their sweets than them because if they were to eat it all, they would have bad tummies, so in a way, we are helping them out lilybug xx

I don't have to sneak it because my kids expect me to take it. They know if chocolate is in the house, I have to eat some!

I would say take that almond joy. NO kids like almond joys anyways. The only reason people give them out is for the parents~ isn't that right?

lol. I was just making fun of my boyfriend for raiding our daughter's candy bag when she went to bed. :-)

It doesn't really matter this year because our daughters are both too young for candy. Destiny can have suckers and easy to eat candy but she doesn't need a lot of it in one day anyways, she's only 18 months old.

I actually plan on using her candy as treats for when she is being good and possibly when we do good on the potty since she just started to potty train.

I sneak my son's Halloween candy all the time. He doesn't mind though. When I was a kid, after Halloween we had to dump all of our candy into a bowl that everyone in the family had access to. That wasn't so bad, except that my father would take 5 or 6 of the candy bars with him to work every morning and eat a couple more when he got home. So us kids were lucky if we got more than 2 or 3 pieces of the "good stuff" and had to eat all of the lolipops, hard candy, gum and other stuff. It always ticked me off since we were the ones who did the work -- he didn't even walk with us, our mom did and she barely ate any of the candy (almond joys and tootsie rolls mostly).

My son is 15 and went trick or treating last night. I know some people are gonna say he is to old but he and his friends had a blast. Each time they came back to the car .. i asked them what they got me and everytime they left .. i said "go get momma some candy!" and then laughed. My son knows that I will take some of his candy. He got almost 4 lbs last night .. he will NEVER eat it all by himself.

Someone gave red hots? Yes, you should take them away so your son doesn't burn his mouth:) That's what a good mom would do~ LOL!

I have 3 kids that went, so there is lots of candy to choose from and I don't think that they will notice.

My son got a mounds bar and was baffled on why anyone would buy mounds for kids! I don't like mounds so that one will probably end up in the garbage.

I am lucky, my kids are happy to share their candy so I don't have to sneak it. Their Dad is another story though. He likes to sneak it to tease them, so they are not as eager to share with him.
