| does anyone know what "CID" is?  | | | |  I have just been told today that I may have "CID" which is a degeneration of the nerve linings, but wasn't told much more than that, except that the neurologist wants to do a spinal tap on me to confirm that I have this.
My question is this. does anyone really know what this disease is? How it is caused? unfortunately, the neurologist appearantly didn't have the time to tell me.
I tried to do a google on it but didn't find anything relevant (perhaps I was looking at the wrong sites)
