potty training boys, need tips!!!

I have two boys so I know where your coming from. With my first{2 years} I just started putting him in pull ups and he got the point. Once he would stay dry for a few hours at a time I switched to underware. If they dont seem interested in the tiolet try putting cherios in there and let him "sink" them! Its fun for him and gets him to want to go. You can also reward him with something small like a piece of candy if he goes in the potty. My second son was very persistant in NOT going on the potty. I tried pull ups and he still went in them. I tried underware and he still went in the. So I decided to take them off all together. He ran around either naked or in a pair of shorts. Having nothing there to go in made him use the potty. Dont give up. If hes not ready yet then try again in a month or so. When hes ready he will go untill then theres not to much you can do. Just try and try again. It might be a good idea to put pull ups on him at night because there bodies havent got the feling of having to go, so they dont wake up just pee the bed. Also always keep tlling him hes a BIG boy! Big boys use the potty! I also had my husband take them in the bathroom with him so they could see how it all works with standing up to pee. GOOD LUCK!!

Well, I also tried buying a potty trainer but he just won't sit there. I also tried letting him walk around naked but it sure is a lot of work and mess.
Then, I tried showing him where I go and what I do in the toilet.
At first, it seems inappropriate and teaching malice to the young kid. But that's what I avoided, noticing those private parts, nonetheless, they are just kids someday you will teach those things to them.
And so he found out that peeing and ... is done in the toilet. He did that at first on the toilet floor until he got comfortable with the toilet seat.
