 Are you a collector? I know I am. I have an odd assortment of items I enjoy having just because they make me feel good to have them around. Most of these items arn't worth much except to me .Here's a partial list of my montly crew. Candles, Cobalt Blue "anything", lol, Wine related items like pictures, bottles, glasses ect., and baby spoons .
What kinds of things do you collect and why?

1.  loved1 (4088) | 10 months ago |  I used to collect angels but then everyone started giving me boxfulls of them. I finally had to say enough! I collect willow tree figures too, just because I think they are so pretty. I also love candles, especially the highly scented ones. I try not to collect things anymore because it makes it harder to dust!

You are sooo right about the dusting thing, Gosh it's so time consumming! It's not the shelves and furniture it's all the moving and washing the objects .
My daughter who lives with me collects Buddas and OMG they are Sooo hard to clean! Some of them are very detailed.

Actually, there are only three categories I collect, black bears (just not live ones lol), fire fighting items, usually old and unusual, and law enforcement collectibles. Oh and one collection that comes out at this time of year, my snowmen.

| 3. pinay81 (1176) | 10 months ago |  before i collect angels figurine, scented candles but now i change i like to collect now a shoes from sandals(15pcs) to slippers(10pcs) and a diferent colors and design of underware i have now 78pcs and i dont use i just put it in the transparent plastic i have flowers,butterflys,printed line,dot circle, and different plain colors i just like to see it while they are hang inside my closet:-)

Thanks for posting! So you don't actually wear the shoes or undergarmets but just collect them? I'd want to wear them all if it was me . lol . I'd better stick to non wearables . Like my candles, I do burn some of them .

I failed to mention my "Farm Animal" collection . I'm really having a hard time fitting the farm animals in with the wine bottles . LOL . Now I'm doing " farm " in the kitchen and "Wine" in the dinning room. So,,,, Hmmm. If I happen to have a guest that's had one too many and they wonder into my kitchen from the dinning room, it's entirely possible they would puke. Major contrast.

I Love Nice figurines it adds colour to an otherwise dull room.
How the dickens are you going to get farm animals into wine bottles.(Hope they are already dead)LOL. I have seen ships in bottles but not animals.That is a great idea, all you need to do it dust the bottles, not hundreds of figurines.
I normally just put mine in the kitchen sink with warm water and dish washing liquid to clean them.

Even young children have their little treasures. I collect books, ninteenth century English ironstone and those glass fishing floats that held up the nets. I only collect the blue, green and amethyst floats. Don't know why. I also am constantly picking up little smooth pebbles and shells and interesting twiggy things. So I guess that's a collection also.
