Kansas City firewood  | |  I read the Kansas City Star and found some classifieds on firewood. Wow I had no idea firewood was going so high there. I live 60 miles south of KC. $160.00 and up, $200.00, $110.00, $180.00, $140.00, $225.00, The $180.00 isnt delivered either. I sold firewood last year for $80.00 delivered. By the cord. 4'x4'x8' is the size of a cord. Im selling a cord this year for $100.00 delivered. I have compatition selling for 80.00 but he runs out too fast.

It didn't look like that much wood though. Maybe a dozen fires worth. We live on 36 acres that is fairly heavily wooded, so we chop out own fire wood. We have 2 fire places, but we only ever use one of them. | |
