Have you heard of this stuff they make now that mixes it all together for you? It's called Goober. Silly name, I know, but it might be just what you're looking for. They make it in grape and strawberry. This would save you many hours of bear slave labor in mixing it all together.

Yes, I'm familiar with Goober grape. I eat a jar of it every few weeks. The whole jar. Never makes it to the bread. It has its own unique taste that I just can't resist.

Ah, good! I'm glad you have discovered this winning combination of peanut butter and jelly. I should have assumed you would have.;)

I like more peanut butter than jelly and Goober tends to go heavy on the jelly, but sometimes I'll eat it if I'm lazy or trying to eat less calories.

I like it plain too sometimes, Goodie, but sometimes it's just too sticky alone. And, yes, try that marshmellow fluff. It's to die for!:)

I have only eaten peanut butter honey candy. Never tried it as a sandwich but i believe I will! How much honey should I add to my pb?

Anything and peanut butter is good!!

I think the honey would be to your taste. I don't like a ton of it because it's so sweet, but some people like to pour the stuff on.

Oh yes, excellent point -- the bread HAS to be fresh.

I quit eating peanuts after spending several afternoons burping after eating the nuts. I kind of quit eating peanut butter years before because, well, I don't remember - probably because I liked other things better.

But I started eating it again when I needed to eat SOMETHING after my lunchtime nap while I was still working after we discovered my blood sugar was at 66 after a car wreck. Discovered if I put chocolate I could stand the stuff.

That's the only way my dad eats peanutbutter...melted on toast!

I have to say that is one of the few ways I don't like it....melted. I used to when I was a kid, but not anymore for some reason.

And, even weirder, "I" usually only like strawberry jelly if I'm eating jelly. Once in a while one of the other berries, but definitely not grape. I don't like grape jelly at all!:-P

Ha ha NICE! Same here, I totally avoid grape jelly at all costs! I also pretty much stick to my strawberry jelly. and I dont' like jam or preserves.

You know, I don't honestly know if I know the difference between jam and jelly. What is the difference?

Jelly is made from fruit juice.
Jam is made from fruit bits!

So Jelly just ...jelled fruit. Think, jello.
Where as Jam is like Jello with fruit chunks in it.

I have been known to sit with a jar and a spoon and go at it; no bread, no spread, just me and my peanut butter.

Okay, explain the butter thing to me. LOL. A few people have said they eat peanut butter with butter. I have never heard of this. Is it a regional thing? I think I've lived in just about every region in the US and still have not heard of it LOL.

I live in Canada and I know lots of people that do it. I think it is because when it is just peanut butter it gets stuck on the roof of your mouth but if you add a bit of butter it is smoother to get down.
