Nowadays, slippers are called flip-flops. If you own havaiannas, you must then be one of the posh individuals who could flaunt in the public such property. You can have the whole mall as an extension of your living room with your "outdoory" but expensive footwear...:)
Anyways, one of my friends, hanna, met someone from Brazil in her Up With People tour, and this Brazilian friend of her mentioned that Big Macs are more expensive than Havaiannas in Brazil.
Is this really true? Like Havaiannas are way cheaper in Brazil? I mean, I could understand since the production and manufacturing is in Brazil. I am just wondering how padded is the cost Havaiannas being sold here. A simple one costs around 14$. How much is Havaiannas in Brazil? Is it really that popular there? If you are a brazilian, would you trade your Big Mac with your havaiannas?
