A yellow Brazil football shirt worn by football player Pele in the 1970 world cup sold for $137,100 at an auction in London. How much would you pay for your favorite sports-persons shirt?

if i had the money, i'd pay big bucks for michel jordan's #45 chicago bulls jersey. i think this is not folly but rather an investment. after a couple more years, i'm sure thath same jersey will be worth much more than what i had bought it for.

I buy but I donot like spending too much on buying on fav sports shirts. Ican use that excess money for something else which is useful for me.

If I had the money, I'd pay up to $5,000 for Karlis Skrastins' game worn jersey. I don't think that it makes much sense to pay much more than that -- and generally when NHL players' game worn jerseys go for sale, it's to benefit charity.
