Glad to hear your Thanksgiving went well, Grandpa Bob. We just lazed around all day in a sort of slumber and watching tv. I even fell asleep for bout an hour while the turkey was in the oven. lol I got all warm and cozy in front of the fire and visited dreamland. We ate at 5 sharp and gorged ourselves silly but everything was sooooooo good that our taste buds kept overriding our brain cells telling us we were full. lol Rested for a few hours then played a few games of Sorry. Now hubby is visiting at his parents' house, my daughter is passed out in the recliner, and well.....I'm here. lol
As for Black Friday, I'll be sleeping while all you nuts are out there fighting for parking spaces and merchandise.:-D

Unfortunately this year I will not be partaking in black friday. I am so broke that I can't pay attention....what is this post about? LOL. Well, you guys have fun going out shopping and facing the madness! I will be in my cozy bed fending myself from the cat who keeps biting my toes.

Yeh, I am one of the nutty people going shopping tomorrow too. I am not as nutty as your are though, I am going at a reasonable time like 9 in the morning. Good luck and happy shopping, I hope you get the karoke machine you want.

I won't be leaving early for any sales. My plan is to leave around 8:am to one store. This will be an easier way to shop, as last year we went to lots of stores. The long lines were terrible with a 2 hour plus line at two stores.

Oh, Grandpa Bob, you're a much braver soul than I am! I'm already cringing at the thought of possibly having to go buy groceries tomorrow, although a lot of local retailers do certainly have some fantastic doorbuster deals for the early birds. Dealing with large crowds like Black Friday brings out just isn't my cup of tea... and I'm thanking my lucky stars that I will NOT be working in a retail store tomorrow!

Are you sure you are not aware of a famous character in literature Heckle and Jeckle I enjoy your posts and as you well know i read everyone and respond to every one but talk about back and forth I am never quite sure what road you will follow but i guess that is good and makes for interesting reading..One other thing that could be read "Peter and the Wolf" remember the little boy who screamed for help ..and when it really counted he was not helped and eaten by the wolf. One thing for sure if you go shopping with only your mylot earnings forget it you will come home with very little My two grandchildren got the same gift we bought at Best Buy last week that new intendo game Wii along with all the extras $500.00 each and there will be more Have a great day and donot get crushed Thanks for posting I will be back

My son's girlfriend had to go to work at Best Buy at 4:30 this morning. They open at six. Good thing she was powered up by all that great Thanksgiving food lol. Hopefully lots of endorphins will see her through the ordeal.

I'm not shopping today, hope to get the chatting done today that I didn't get done the last couple. Was too busy cleaning and cooking!

Well my plans for the day have not changed.

My kids are doing schoolwork, and I'm sitting here responding ot discussions.

I do NOT intend to go shopping today, I don't want to go shopping today, I hate shopping, and the mood I'm in I'd tell some undeserving store clerk off and get my butt thrown out of the store or arrested.

Hope you had fun shopping while I was fast asleep in my warm, comfy bed. We has our Thanksgiving here in Canada in October, and the next day we don't get sales like you guys do. Our biggest day for sales is the day after Christmas (Boxing Day). Stores have HUGE sales, so I do get up early yes, but not at 3 am lol.
