| Dangerous Jobs..  | | | |  Have you seen that program called "The Worlds Most Dangerous Jobs" ? I saw one awhile back about King Crab fishermen and it was pretty wild. These guys stay on the fishing boat for months under very extreme weather and very hard work in addition to the danger. But on the plus side they earn enough so that they only have to go out once a year and then not work again till the following year.
Would you work at that kind of job if you made enough money ? I think I would risk it.

| |  I saw one in the National Geographic channel... and it is pretty amazing how these workers live in dangerous cold area for weeks or months just to harvest King Crabs...I think that is one reason why King Crabs are so expensive in the market... this type of food is very delicious but the mere fact of how they are acquired adds more appeal to them...

Personally I wouldnt do that. I mean yeah it would be nice to work once a year and then have the rest of the year off, but I wouldnt make it in this particular job. Ive watched those shows on TV about them. They could easily lose their lives. Talk about risk takers! lol
Plus I get a little sea sick on boats. Especially large boats, even a cruise would be out of the question for me! lol This is one job that I wouldnt be able to even entertain the thought for!

| |  My ex partner is a shark fisherman. it is also very dangerous although not as dangerous as the king crab fishing and they only spend around 2 weeks on the water at a time then have a few days break they fish all year round in most weather.
It is a lonly life for the family which is why i have distanced myself now.
