I'm a NUT.

We didn't leave the house until around 10 this morning. I am not that NUTTY, I wasn't one of them nuts who go in the wee hours of the morning. I just went to Walmarts and Big Lots, both about 10 minutes from my house.

No your not that nutty I would have to agree. But I'll bet traffic was murder!!lol..Lori

Walmart had some great deals, I could have spent a fortune there, I ran out of money. What I did get was some great deals. My Walmart had the Hoodies too, I was tempted.

I hate the crowds and traffic too. I went 2 places 10 minutes from my house. Surprising the store wasn't crowded, the real nuts were early and left by the time I got there.

I went to Big Lots too, you can always find some good bargains there. My son and daughter in law went to Big Lots this morning, they are expecting another baby. They got a good bargain. Its a video baby moniter system for $40. It has the camera/microphone, the moniter and then another thing you carry with you. That will be great for when the baby comes, we all live in a 2 story house. Tomorrow I am going to JCPenneys and Target with my mom. I only have a few more little things to get and then I am done. If I had lots of money, the grandkids would have made out like bandits, but you have to draw the line somewhere.

Those baby moniters are really nice to have.I did not go out today,it has been cold and raining,so we just stayed in and watched movies, i might just use this time to wrap my presents...I have 13 grandkids so what i do is just buy for their babies,they are still real small.My smaller grandkids or i should say the ones thats not married i buy for them and of course my own kids.I opened a Montgomery Ward account not long ago so i am buying from them most of the bigger things., and also have bought a few things from fingerhut..I will have to pay for this later but i just did not have the cash,but i will buy as long as i can..I married really young,had my first child at 15, we had 5 children one after the other,and was married 38 years,but he died,and now i am remarried but i was a grandma at 30, so i have really got a lot of kids,grandkids and now some very small great grandkids at age 62,so i am blessed...

I was a young gramma too. My hubby was 20 yrs. older then me, we had 27 yrs. together before he died. I have 3 stepdaughters( I hate the word step) but I am not old enough to have given birth to them and they do have another mom. The oldest one, who I am the closet too, we are only 7 yrs. apart in age. I am like her mom, she is my kid. I have been around her since she was 11 yrs. old. I have 11 grandchildren and another on the way. I have 1 natural son, he has 3 boys and a girl on the way. I have been a gramma since I was in my 20's, I love it. My oldest granddaughter is 18 yrs. old. My son, daughter in law and 2 yr. old grandson live with me. They moved in after my hubby died. I am also blessed. I love buying for the grandkids. They are all getting jammies and of course goodies. My son, bless his heart, helped me out. He gave me $250 to spend on Christmas shopping, I only have 1 more small git to get and then I am done. Then the hard work starts, the wrapping, hehe. Take care, and Merry Christmas coming up soon.

well Polly i can tell you are really blessed with a wonderful family.It was nice that one of your children moved in with you after your husband died...I know that probably helped you a lot emotionally to have them there..I also have read a lot of your post and discussions and i feel that your family is also blessed to have you.,you sound like a very nice person....

Normally I stay home on Black Friday, this year I looked at some of the ads. The bargains were just too good to pass up. I only went about 10 minutes from my house, I am not that nutty to venture out too much, hehe. Don't you know, nutty people are out on Black Friday, I try to stay away from them, hehe.

I love Ebay. Its so much fun. I did alot of my shopping last year online. This year the Walmart Had some terrific deals on pj's, I managed to get all the kids and grandkids some. I will probably finish my shopping on ebay. You can find some great bargains.
