did Charlie Brown every ask the little red head girl out?

I am not sure.I don't think he did it in the comic strip, but he could have in one of the movies.I think Charlie Brown would finally ask her out when their class was to go from 8th grade to 9th.And she would say yes.It is the romantic in me.

I actually looked it up on and there's a thing about her on Wikipedia.com. Apparently she was just a crush Charlie Brown had in the comic strip. She was never drawn in the strips, just mentioned. In 1977, on "It's Your First Kiss, Charlie Brown," a T.V. special, she was known as "Heather." I don't think he ever asked her out, though. I, personally LOVE Peanuts! In fact, my Christmas decorations are mostly Peanuts Christmas decorations...Snoopy is my favorite! Great topic!

To my kinowledge her name was Lucy and she liked him a lot and all Charlie Brown did was go uuuuuuccckkkkk. He hated her and No he didn't ask her out as far as I kinow. Don't know how else to spell it.(uuuucccckkkkk)... hehehe

If I remember right, in one of the tv programs, Charlie Brown came really close to asking her out, but at the last minute, he completely lost his nerve. Or at least it was something really close to that. I was rooting for him the whole time though. LOL

I think he came close once, maybe in the Halloween special, but I don't think he ever got up the nerve to ask her out.

It's homecoming at Charlie Brown's school, and Charlie Brown and Linus are among the escorts for the Homecoming Queen and her court. During the Homecoming Parade, Linus tells Charlie Brown that he will be the escort for the Queen, but Charlie Brown hyperventilates and falls off the float when he sees the Queen is none other than the Little Red-Haired Girl herself (whose name in the special is Heather). He is even more shocked when he later finds out that before the first dance, he must give Heather a kiss on the cheek- a school homecoming tradition according to Linus.

That one left me hanging. I loved the Peanuts movies and cartoons when I was little, but I never saw if Charlie and the red head girl ever got together. xD
