mylot person of the year  

I would like to nominate a mylot user for person of the year, our good friend gabs8513, she is never without a kind word to offer someone who needs it, and I just love her to peices. I can honestly say I have never met a nicer person, here or anywhere else. Hooray for Gabs!

wow this is such a hard decision to answer because there is a few people i would love to nominate so if i have to pick only one it's just gonna have to be me because i can't choose between the few that i love it's too hard.so my answer is me lol.great topic though.pattie

There rae 2 that I will nominate. The myLot member would be me
(Grandpa bBob)for dealing with the stress filled life I have had
the past 12 minths and for being my fathers caregiver and saving
his ife a couple times this year. The non member would have to be
my wife (Grandma Debbie). She is giving her brother the best gift possible. She is preparing to give him a new life so to speak by
way of being a bone marrow donor to save his life. God bless

Im answering this without reading the other responses and I have a feeling someone else might have already said this, but I would have to choose a myLotter! TransDisc would be my choice!

My reasons? Well hes extremely nice, kind and considerate to no matter who is he responding too or what hes responding about. Hes got a great sense of humor and comes up with very entertaining topics for us to discuss and laugh about.

Im so sure others will agree!!

I highly nominate grandpa bob for myplot person for the year.

My mom.
I know that sounds corney but I would nominate my mom.
She really is and always has been an amazing person.
She was a foster mother of hard to place children and had a hand in raising over 100 people.
She also handled horses(which she is scared of), cows, chikens, pigs, cats dogs and any myriad of animals we brought home including a hutch of wild rabbits that was plowed up one year.
She had a kitchen garden that was over an acre and she preserved most of the foods we ate, raised the meats we ate or jb went hunting and sgot the meats we ate, either way she hung and butchered them.
Now she is living in a very small town and is still involved in the local school and families.
She turns 70 in May 2008. Susan

What a great discussion, there are so many people especially on Mylot who I could happily nominate especially those that have been very supportive towards me when I left my ex and so I would be very hard pushed to single out one person. I have so many lovely adopted sisters here and you know who you are! I think that if Jimbo was still around I would have voted him because he always brought so much to this site and so much humour too, I know he's around a lot on the 'other site' It's definitely a tough one! So many lovely people on this site x
