Best Christmas Songs  

I've heard the Bowie/Crosby version..it's really good...and I think Vince Gill and the Judds doing a Christmas album would sound great. My next aquisition will be a Diana Krall Christmas album...I want a Jazz Christmas album.

I love "Please Come Home For Christmas" and "All I want for Christmas is You."

The chipmunks christmas song- chipmunks making more chipmunks. Come all ye faithful- faking it again. Away in the manger- met her in a motel. Grandma got run over by a Reindeer- Grandma got drunk with Santa and stepped on his popcorn balls. May you have a very Mary xmas and Allah will be praised.

It's great! I also have Chipmunk rock and Urban Chipmunk. My momy got them for me when I was a little girl.

I know the little drummer boy, backwards and forwards. I learned when I was a youth.

You know, I never thought of Ave Maria as a Christmas song before! Growing up Catholic, I really only heard it played at funerals. Maybe that's why I can't listen to that song without crying.

I too can not listen to the ave maria with out crying. It reminds me of kneeling in a pews for ages and the nuns with their rulers of law.

I have several Christmas CD's that have Ave Maria on them. Celine Dion, Charlotte Church, Sandy Patty to name a few. It is one of the songs that has a couple of tunes to it and I think it is a beautiful peace.

Oh another one who sang it on her Christmas cd was Karen Carpenter who had a beautiful voice IMO.

It is a song for all seasons.

My boss sometimes plays a radio station that only plays Elvis music. I believe it is called Serious Elvis radio. It plays every song he ever did and I love it!

No, I do like Elvis--I've read all his biographies and listened to all his music, but still, I only want to hear him in small doses. I can't think of any artist whose music I want to hear 24/7 though
