thank you for your comment funnysis.I enjoy listening to Don Williams' music all the time.I love the classic country from 80s to 70s.Those times were the best and the greatest of all country music.
Country back than was a blessing and i wish that i could turn back time and visit those years again.But,much to say i cannot,but i can recall the old music in the years that were the greatest.

Oh gosh,i remember this song back in the mid 80s.Mom loved this song.Me and my mother is wild about Mr. Don Williams.I tell you now,me,my mom,and a Vietnamese friend of hers went to see Mr. Don Williams in concert.They about went crazy with the concert.i barely remember it though but i remember that that they were so happy to see him.He was sitting on his old bar stool like always:P
I bought her a CD online intitled "Love Songs".hehe
it had this song on there too and i play it all the time.
I gave her the CD,and she cried like a baby b/c she was so tickled to have another CD of him.

Nah,we just got back though from Food City to pick up some spaghetti noodles and sauce.And than we went to McDonold's to get a burger.I ordered a Big Mac Meal with no lettuce and pickel,and 2 double cheeseburgers with no pickels,and Melinda ordered a Big Mack meal and a cheeseburger.I love their big macks and double cheeseburgers.I always eat the same thing everytime i go over there.If it's not there,than it's Taco Bell.

lol. i love spaghetti anyway that you can imagine fixing it, but when it comes to the big macs, i will pass on them. about the only thing that i care for from mcdonalds is their side salads, the yogurt parfiats, and i like the fillet-o-fish sandwich. i like burgers elsewhere, like at friday's restaurants. they have about the best hamburger that you can buy (or at least i think so). have a good weekend.

Do you mean TGIF?(Thank god Its Friday).I've heard of that one b4,but never have tried it.Im not too much of a a salad person.I never did like salads even when i was young.My grandmother,on my dad's side,use to cook Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners every year.and she'd make the biggest meal that anyone could cook.She'd start cooking about three days before the holidays,and start getting prepared for it.WOW!I've always admired her in that and the power that she had to do something like that.
She was a gr8 cook.And gosh,those mashed potatoes.YUMMY!
They were great.But,anyways,she'd cook that big meal with the salad for the first part of the meal.And everybody would get the salad first,and than start eating the regular food,you know,like ham,and turkey,mashed potatoes.
Wow....I really miss those years.Those were the golden days,As my Dad says.I would only start getting into the regular food and sit down and eat.Now,she's not here no more to enjoy her food.Gosh,i miss her.....

yes, that is the restuarant that i am talking about. they have the best burgers in town. and i am sorry to hear about your grandma (i think it was), and mine used to do the same thing every year when she was still living. she would be up and cooking before anybody else in the house would even be awake yet. lol. and thanks very much for the good mark. i am off to the mall today, so i won't be around here much at Mylot today. take care.

Same thing with me on my grandmother,she'd be up crack of dawn cooking like a storm.i just got back from town today to get some of the things for this month,and bought some Christmas presents as well.I bought my mom an Elephant candle holder.I know,LOL but the Thai people,they love elephants over there.And especially if they live here in the USA.They want to share their country's history on elephants.But i don't know much about the elephants,and why they like them so much.But i remember my mom telling me long time ago that the kids would ride the elephant for a celebration in Thailand.And they all would get on the elephant and ride him through the streets of Bangkok.
But i think it's a spiritual thing of why they ride them.
Not really sure.But anyways,i found one elephant candle holder at Target today.I thought that it would look cute in her basement part where she remodeled it.And we got Melinda's sister's children for the boy,a Optimus Prime Robot thing called,"BumbleBee".Good grief.I don't know nothing about them,but i was lucky to find one there at Target.I've uploaded the picture of the elephant candle holder.And i think it is kinda neat and cute.I thought about getting me and melinda one later.hehe

i am sure that your Mom will enjoy the georgeous elephant candle holder that you got her for Christmas. i am planning on getting my mom and dad both train tickets, they put the Nashville Star in here in Donelson a few years ago, and they haven't rode the train yet, so i thought that that would be a neat Christmas present for them this year...i would like a train ticket myself...lol. but every year i think and think as of what to get my folks, they have everything that they need, so it is really hard to buy for them at the holiday time each year. Opry Mills was busy yesterday, but not to the extreme of it thou. i was really surprised that there wasn't a big crowd there yeterday. happy holidays.

that's cool Rhonda.I like trains.I remember the train over there in Dollywood.And everytime i go there,i'd ride the train.hehe you parents sound like my mom and dad.They have everything also.And so,i seen the little elephant there at Target,and i thought it'd look neat in her basement part.As for my dad,i have no idea what i'm going to get for him.I've got some blank CDS and i've made my mother a copy of some of the old country music that i have downloaded from limewire,and i think i'll do that for my dad too.Make him a bunch of songs by Don Williams and other old country artists that he enjoys or once enjoyed when they were singing back in the days.I know that he loved that song by Dave Logins:Please come to Boston.That's an awesome song.I found it on limewire and downloaded it.

no, i wish that i did thou. my Dad is a retired truck driver and he is so hard to buy for. i need some ideas for my Dad as well. i have had a very busy day today, i not only have been baking and decorating a birthday cake for my Mom's birthday that is tomorrow, i went out to harbor freight, kohl's and wal-mart tonight. shew. i did get some shopping done tonight that i needed to do. but still not finished shopping yet thou. take care.

ok, i posted the birthday cake here yesterday. actually two of them. lol. i am off to Opry Mills again today to go shopping with my Mom. whoo hoo! but i have to be home at three p.m. this afternoon to get the kids off of the school bus. so hopefully i will not be as tired tonight as i was on Saturday.

no, it was a birthday cake that i made for my Mom, and it said Happy Birthday Mom on it and it had a christmas tree on the top of it also. i don't think that i posted it to my profile, it might be there, but i did start a new discussion about the birthday cake with a photo attached to it. take care.

thanks so much, and i liked the teddy bear cake also.:) that red rose that the teddy bear is carrying, it is not made from icing but from fondant, i self-taught myself how to make those, from a video off of the internet. take care.

wow,that's cool Rhonda.Speaking about internet,i love the internet.It has so much to offer you.My mother said that she may buy me a laptop for Christmas this year.I don't know why she wants to buy me one when i've already got a desktop computer.And my desktop is still in excellent condition with no viruses on it.But,i'm glad that she might be.That'd be cool to take it everywhere with me and i can still be in touch with all my close friends on mylot and Yuwie.
They've got that built in wireless modem for the lappy.And you just need to be in a hotspot to get wi-fi connection.:)

that would be awesome of your Mom if she gets you a laptop for Christmas. i have never had a laptop before...we have two Dell desktop computers here at home. if somebody is on the one in the dining room, then the other person can go in the bedroom to use the other computer.
