 Today we are celebrating Advent, and this day our shops are open this afternoon, many starts their Christmas shopping today, I for one usually starts. But today I am going to my mum and dad and go to theirs town and join old friends. There are not so many shops there, so I will not make any Christmas shopping today. Many are already ready with it, many are not.

 anetteh (1435) | 3 years ago | Well, I have not, I am not finished, and I have not started yet. I do not know what to get for gifts this year, asking my son he say´s he do not know what he want. But I will take a day later on, and go down town. shopping by the window may get some help.

| 2. book1962 (14567) | 3 years ago |  Hi Anette, as I ordered most of my Christmas gifts, like books or calendars or nice candles over the Internet and have them delivered directly to my home I have almost finished my Christmas shopping. I have to go to our local brewery and buy beer for two people who get this in a nice bottle for Christmas and I have to wait for another two or three calendars which will be delivered in this following week. Then I only have to wrap them, write the cards and send them on their way and I am done with the Christmas preparations as far as buying gifts and sending them is concerned.

Now, my parents have already got the thing she wishes for so I have to found out something els. But I have an idea, so well see what I will get. For Christmas shopping, I will go down town one day and shop from the window´s to get some idea´s.

Problem is my parents have everything they need, over the 65 both of them. And then we have the sisters, my kids, and.......my self of course.

I wil have to try and get to town while my eldest is in school as he always goes everywhere with me. And there is a lot that he cant see me buying!!!!:-)

And I do not make the shopping before a couple of days before Christmas day. I hope your shopping is not to expensive, I was to by my daughter who left home recently a TV, but my dad, her grandfather have already done that. So I got a bike for her instead. She want that to. She has her birthday on the 13 of dec, and she will get those presents as both.

| 5. aaidjs (658) | 3 years ago |  Hello Dear,I am one of those people who don't like shopping-mania or gift-mania!I start with baking Christmas cookies and some cake which I can preserve.I also made nice sausages for Christmas!!I didn't finish some lace for my friends!All my friends know that I will give them my wine,brandy, olive oil, dry figs, hazelnuts!I will buy only a few toys/but not expensive/form my grandkids!!

| anetteh (1435) | 3 years ago | Well, I am glad because my dad have arranged for my daughters present on her birthday on 13 of dec. I had to get something els. Today I had to take the bike to work, and I needed to change the sits and the lamp. And while I was there, I asked if they had a used bike for sale, And I was lucky, I got one nice hardely used, for about $65. I knew she wanted both a telly and a bike. But I had said she could not get both.
Anyways, Me and my son are going to shop for clothings. We need do get something new. And I have also signed up to get my driver license, finally...not bad in age of 40

I have alredy everything for my parents and my borther now I just need to buy somethign for my in laws, but I would let it probably on my fiancee. We have alredy soemthing for his sister and mum, all we need is something for his nephew and brother in-law. Hope i can get it soon, since I was shopping this weekend for some small things and it was already crowded everywhere. the worst is when you go buy one thing, but it take you about 30 minutes to do it. HAppy shopping.

My daughter has her 20 birthday on the 13 dec, and she are getting more bigger and expensive presents so hers I already have done. The rest will be done in a couple of days. Perhaps tomorrow, when me and my three sisters go to hospital to see my grandfather who is not so god, in fact he will may pas away this Christmas. We do not know, but he is in a bad way 91 years old. After we have seen him, we might go for some Christmas shopping, however it do not feel right, they might think.
