Sympathy cards for those in Jail  

Anyway to make a buck. There probably are plenty of tacky people out there that will be sending those lovely cards out. Not me. Of course, right now, I only know of one person in jail and I would have no desire to send anything to him.

I probably would not, because it would probably drive them to violent crime, against me. I suppose there are some people who would, though, and would live dangerously, or die trying.

I would only send one if it said "I'm sorry society has to waste tax payers money on your miscreant behavior." I'd send it postage due.

Hi mooch! Yes, some would send those kind of greeting cards. I guess, maybe it will depend on how well you know the person in jail. As for me, I can send greeting cards to someone in jail but not those kind of greeting cards. I mean, people in jail would probably want to receive a normal greeting card that looks so happy and joyful. And i think they would rather have pictures or designs in greeting cards and messages that will somehow give them a glimpse of the outside world. Just my thoughts. take care and have a nice day. :)

Follow the trail of money......if it sales someone will come up with it. As for me, no, I wouldn't send a sympathy card, or any other card for that matter. I mean come on, I'm soo sorry you are sitting in jail, but heard it was better and cheaper than Holiday Inn Express. lol

I have absolutely no idea what i would do under those circumstances First of all i would be miserable with a loved one in jail and have no idea whether i could accept it or not So much depends on the crime and why the jail time To be honest i have never thought of this and am happy to report i donot have to .I imagine if the love was deep and lasting i would communicate somehow but likely with more then just a card I think the high postage rates has had a lot to do with the big letdown in sending cards any more Thanks for sharing I will Be Back

LMFAO ok I'm sorry but that is JUST TOO COMICAL!!! I would NEVER purchase a card like that for my bf or anyone else i know who'd been arrested or is doign time..Thats a good way to get your head knocked off where I come from..It'd be considered making light of the situation which is NOT a good idea...

I do send my bf cards but just regular ones....I'll have to tell him about this line of cards though cause thats just too funny!!

If I thought it would make the person feel better, I might send them one. It wouldn't be because I feel better or not, but just making them feel cared about. Yes, I probably would send a card like that if I had someone I knew and cared about in jail.

i guess the people use greeting cards - as substitute to actual letters/mail. i mean... prisoners do get letters, dont they ? there are people who write to prisoners in jail?...
i dare not think that anyone i know and care about would wind up in jail - and dont want to assume that something like that would ever happen..
but i do think it is a 'unique' idea - greeting cards for those in jails...
