Peanut Butter: Smooth and Creamy or Chunky?

I really prefer crunchy peanut butter to smooth peanut butter.

I think that crunchy peanut butter is much tastier.
The taste of the little pieces of peanut makes a big difference in flavor.
In fact I find that smooth peanut butter is bland and boring compared to crunchy peanut butter.

Depends on the occasion. When i have it on its own, with a spoon and stuff i like it chunky.Its nice to crunch a bit when you taste it.If i want to apply it on bread, then its gotta be creamy thus it would apply easier.We dont have peanut butter often, we prefer jams, because we make them on our own.However when we do have, it doesnt stay for long:)

I personally like the smooth. I don't like the texture of the chunky. When I put peanut butter on my toast I don't like the feel of the crunch. I feel like I am chewing something with something on it that shouldn't be there. It kind of gives me the creeps. Like there is dirt or something on it. My hubby likes the smooth one better, too. He feels the same way as I do.

I like it creamy because I chomp it down mindlessly and hitting a nut could make me bite myself. OUCH. I love peanut butter, though, especially with chocolate and a big glass of iced milk.

In my household we love creamy peanut butter. I just try to get the peanut butter that don't have partial dehydrogenated oils. Those are kinda spendy and small jars. I guess thats probably why we don't eat peanut butter much. I try to buy more than one jar because their small.Creamy spreads better then the crunchy or chunky. i rarely see the chunky here in the town I am in. In our stores you see more crunchy or creamy.

I haven't had peanut butter for years! My ex never liked it and they always bought the shopping, so it was never included, it didn't bother me because the stuff is quite high in fat and calories, but I always used to buy the extra chunky one, I also use to add KP peanuts ON TOP to make it extra crunchy, very very unhealthy but a great snack!

I dont know that i have ever heard of chunky peanut butter, but i like the crunchy kind, cause i like the little bits of nuts in it. but my husband eats way more peanut butter then i do and he likes the smooth kind, so that's what we buy at the grocery store. I should maybe get a little jar for myself next time:)

smooth and creamy definitely. I like peanuts in everything, just bought some crunchy biscuits with peanat butter and peanut on it, they were really expensive but delicious.
