And for those who have lost someone close to them,

I have to say right now that as I sit here and think about the loss of a family Member to cancer who is truly missing his brother in law
To those who are mourning their loved ones in Nebraska, or those shot in Colorado Churches, to those that have died in wintery weather in the plane states.
And every one else that has lost a loved one, it doesn't even have to be this Christmas season...
My heart and prayers go out to you.

| |  Thank you, Mooch. Christmas will never be the same w/o our loved ones who have died in some way or another. Every Christmas since my dad's own path to heaven, I've sent a special prayer up letting him know he is very sadly missed by his loved ones. Then I send up another prayer for e1 else who have lost loved ones as well. I've finally found peace within 2 yrs. ago due to his death and can now go on with my life w/o him.

| |  My son passed the day after christmas. Thank you for that beautiful discussion. I really am grateful to know that there are people out there thinking about those no longer with us. I have seen so many times where somebody passes and two months later people have forgotten about the whole thing. I am not saying that people dont care. I just know that people become so focused on shopping and the hype of christmas that they forget the important meaning of christmas.

| |  Hi mooch! I am one with my dear friend in praying for all our brothers and sisters worldwide who have suffered so much loss of a loved one especially in this holiday season. The grief is tremendous and the holidays will be less happier for them somehow. But as the saying goes, "Let us not weep for the loss of our loved ones but rather rejoice for their eyes have already seen the Lord." Just my thoughts my friend. take care and have a nice day! :)

| |  What a wonderful thread oneandone! This yr we have had to add my ex mum in law (the kids gramma) to the list unfortunately...also on it (on a personal level) is my son, my kids father, another ex of mine, my best friend, my nephew, my biological father, my SiL and niece on my husbands side as well as aunt and uncle on his side, my uncle and the list just goes on unfortunately...
Every yr I like to take a minute to myself and have some quiet time for the loved ones we've lost ya know..Every yr we also put up Tylers stocking and put his gift under the tree which is always nice too...
