|  This poor woman. I saw her crying on the news because someone stole Mary and baby Jesus from her lawn nativity scene on her front lawn. Her and her husband have been setting up the display for the past 38 years. They are just hoping the people that took it will have a change of heart and return it because it was purchased in the 1960s from her her husband when they really did not have the money to spend on such things.
It isn't bad enough when lawn trolls frogs are taken? LEAVE OTHER PEOPLES PROPERTY ALONE ESPECIALLY WHEN IT IS RELIGIOUS!

| |  Wow you are right that person or people had to be a real life grinch. I hate hearing stories like that. It's sad to say but, it was probably kids who took it. Parents just don't raise their kids the way they used to.

| |  This sort of thing is going on all over the country. these people are really terible. i saw where a couple of kids sole the baby Jesus from a church nativity. Now that's really going too far. They probably plan on selling it on Ebay.

Seems not, it comes to something when someone is so desperate, so mean, so nasty and vindictive that they could stoop so low as to steal Mary and baby Jesus. Unbelievable I am literally lost for words, what a state this world has come to. I hope they get them back, and maybe restore a little faith that most of us quite rightly lose!

Around here about a year ago there was a rash of thefts from churches involving musical instruments, drum sets guitars, and not the cheap ones the expensive ones....
Sadly these have never been recovered.

I'm sorry to hear of this Raz. Its a terrible thing that happened. Like others in thread I think punk kids may have done it. But I wouldn't be surprised if it was just some piece of trash (kid or adult). I do hope this situation ends positively, either by return of the items, or the community coming to support the couple.
