This Drives Me Crazy. Does Anyone Else Even Notice?  |

 Upside down 8's.
I can't stand when I see an upside down 8 posted. I see this most of the time on fuel prices -- the 8's are placed on the board upside down.
Does this bother anyone else? Where do you see such horrible things?

1.  sigma77 (4282) | 2 years ago |  I think there is a card game named after this called Crazy Eights. I never notice the gas prices that are posted because I cannot count that high anymore. The letter B is really a malformed 8 as is the number 6. The world is so upside down it is no wonder we don't all fall off. I always carry a bottle of Elmers just in case I loose my grip on the earth. I can't imagine anything worse than falling off the planet and getting sucked toward the sun. Opps, I guess I should also tote around some sun screen lotion.

If you carry duct tape, there is no waiting for the Elmer's glue to set up. You can also use the duct tape to firmly attach the sun screen to your back, just below the neck, like Bruce Willis did with the 9mm in the finale of Die Hard. Only he used Christmas wrapping tape. Hey, this turned into a seasonal comment!

Funny thing though, last December I was walking around in a spring Jacket into the first week of January and now it is much colder. This is exactly why global warming has been proven to be a farce. Sorry, I guess I got off the subject....must be that brain cloud thing I once saw in a movie starring Tom Hanks. | |

The most profound part was when Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan are lying on the boat at night talking. The pharse about the whole world being asleep is truly eye-opening. That is exactly why we don't always see what is around us, you know, things like disfunctional 8s and 0s. | |

Merchants do this just so we think we are buying something cheaper.
The one that drives me crazy when it is upside down, is the E.
