Everybody, Get UP! It's Christmas!  |

 Okay, so I snuck on here with my exhusband snoring in the living room, my folks snoring in their bedroom. Santa has been here and I am chomping at the bit to see what he brought. My kids and their sidekicks aren't going to be here till nine. If my daughter has the hangover I was predicting, they will be later lol.
My daughter and son in law had a nice Christmas Eve gathering last night. They had beautifully decorated the place, and the coffee table was FULL of fondue and finger foods.They put out their little Christmas village complete with skaters. I almost wish I still drank cuz they had lots of that too. My son in law had his Christmas pot and he was grinning like a Cheshire. It was a nice evening. We had a marathon of Christmas movies, and then Brian and I came back here and watched "A Christmas Story." You know? That one with the leg lamp and all? He shoots his eye out.
Anyway, I wish you all a wonderful day, whether you celebrate Christmas or not. If you did celebrate, come here and tell me what Santa brought!
It's goofy how I am still the first one up at Christmas.

2.  royal52gens (3309) | 2 years ago |  I think it is incredible that you and your ex-husband can do this together for the kids. I hope someday I will be so tolerant. This year is such a mess. I have been excluded from most things probably because I am so depressed. I can go from depression to anger in a split second. It is hard for me so I know it is hard for everyone else. Christmas just seems to heighten this. I would love to drink myself into a stupor but that would serve no real good purpose. I will raise my glass of fruit juice to you and say, "Thank you, Thank you for being my friend. It really means so much to me." You are one of the beautiful gifts I receive every day of the year. Happy New Year to you also.
