Yes, there are 50 states in the united states. I learned a song when I was a kid called the Fifty Nitfy United States, so I know them all, in alphabetical order, and can say them in well under a minute. I call it one of my crazy, useless talents. There are 50 states.I could try to name them all but I would miss one or two and I will stay up all night trying to remember which State I missed.The two that get the most attention are New York and California.
