GOSSIP: bad for your health

From what I see the world thrives and revolves around gossip.
It doesn't matter if it is good or bad. Just watch how the
ears perk up when you mention the name Paris Hilton or Britney Spears.
People can't wait to hear the latest gossip. And now we even have
shows on TV that are making millions just dishing out the gossip.
And look at all the magazines in stores and at the check-out line
in the supermarkets the racks are full of gossip magazines.
Everyone gossips or likes to hear gossip. Some want to be the first
to hear gossip so they can pass it on to others.
I guess sooner than later everyone makes that mistake.
We all open our mouth and say some things that would have been better
off not mentioned. I don't think it has anything to do with your health.
It's just nature to gossip and men are worse than women
but they deny it. Get real men,you know it true!

I've heaard plenty of gossip, even though I ask them to NOT gossip, some people thrive on gossip. Myself I hate gossip about anything & anybody..xxLori

I don't listen to gossip, I think gossip is bad, and I've never tried to gossip! I don't like to tell somebody some information that is not true!

Bad gossip or negative vibes about common acquaintances can forge really close friendships.

Sharing negative gossip seemed to appeal to human nature and brought two people close.

Not all gossip is bad, if the person you are talking about knowa you are. Like you are trying to find some good advice for that person. Sometimes the person you are talking about wants you to, to find a solution for their problem. I don't gossip about people if they don't want it. Then it is bad.
