Do you write poetry? what kinds of topics do you write about?

I love to write, especially poetry. I write about my feelings mostly...sometimes I just start writing and see what comes out

I like to write poetry mainly about my life experiences both good and bad. I was just saying today to myself I've got to get back into my writings. Some of mine I already put a copyright on by sending my work to the copyright office in D.C.

I hate the fact that most of it is in my storage space back in Illinois so I have to work with what I can remember off the top of my head as well as write new stuff but thanks a million. if i had my druthers i'd druther be a bird, to fly so high up in the sky would rather be absurd, i flit and fly high in the sky, on strength of wind and wings and swoop and dash to catch my meal while all the fellows sing. my family is waiting, a branch upon a tree, as soon as i am full with food i'll bring it home to three.to wish and want to be a bird is really quite confounding, but just the thought of flying high, would, really be astounding.{john rothwell (1972)} i have others if you would like

I have never written any peotry,I have always thought about it and should have a go reallt and see it as a new challenge,we all have the potential to write poetry but its putting it into action isnt it.There are some great poets around and I admire W H Auden as a greeat modern poet,then Rudyard Kipling comes next in line with his great poem entitled `If`.a poem he wrote in memory of his son Jack.I will take apeep at your link and see what type and kind of peotry you like to write,there is some peotry that is so deep it only has a meaning to the poet thenselves and others would struggle to comprehend.
