No matter the country or the situation, it warms my heart to hear that people like this are rescued after months.

I'm glad that they were able to find food and shelter in an abandoned military base, and when supplies began to run low that they were able to be well enough to hike to find a place with a working radio.

The center called rescuers, and helicopters were sent to take the 11 to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatka, the regional capital.<

I am truly happy that there is a happy ending to this story, they were able to make the best out of their situation, and will be able to return to their families.

There are dangers that come with jobs like this, and like I say they stuck it out together, and did what they had to, to survive.
