| |
Transdisc (12276) | 7 months ago | This is one of the saddest things I've ever heard, uath13. I am weeping now.
| |
uath13 (2354) | 7 months ago | So am I. I can't even find any comfort food.

2. TerryZ (11515) | 7 months ago | Hello Trans yes we have the peanut butter and milk chocolate mixed together too. And now I want some and dont have any! And Im still sick so I cant go out and get them. Geez! Now what?
| |
| |
Goodie123 (6034) | 7 months ago | Terry when you put my sweetie on the plane, could you fill his pockets with Reeses Peanut Butter Chocolate Please.
| |
Transdisc (12276) | 7 months ago | Yeah, Terry, I don't have any right now either. It would be nice to have some. I started this discussion because I heard a nasty rumour that the people in Australia don't have them and I think it's a travesty. If it's true, the Red Cross needs to be called immediately to do something about it.
| |
Goodie123 (6034) | 7 months ago | Oh Trans that is a wonderful idea. When do you think you will be able to call them.
| |
gtargirl (679) | 7 months ago | Australia has a whole list of tasty chocolate bars though. Cherry Ripe? or Honey Comb? Yummm.
| |
dfn12968 (5595) | 7 months ago | oh, and what was that candy bar you sent me, goodie? it was sooo good!
| |
Goodie123 (6034) | 7 months ago | It was a Crumble Bar D, same as Gtargirl said honeycomb.
| |
TerryZ (11515) | 7 months ago | Trans Im on it right away I just called the red cross it will be taken care of immediately! And there will be chocolate for everyone in the world! Yaaaay!
| |
TerryZ (11515) | 7 months ago | And Goodie I will load his pocketts filled with chocolate all kinds!LOL
| |
Goodie123 (6034) | 7 months ago | Thank you Terry. Hopefully my sweetie will arrive before D and Pepe, they are going to take a fortnight to get here. And thats only because D said she knows a shortcut.
| |
dfn12968 (5595) | 7 months ago | Who's your sweetie? what did I miss????
| |
Goodie123 (6034) | 7 months ago | Terry's Hubby has a brother who is almost as sweet as Terry's hubby. So Terry is sending him to me. I have to disguse him as a chicken though so hubby does not know. I cannot disguse him as a rooster, because hubby chops the heads off roosters.
| |
cheesehater (1232) | 7 months ago | Goodie you can disguise him as a light or non alcoholic beer. I've had several of them sitting in my fridge for about a year now. If you do this he may go unwanted and unnoticed. hehehe
| |
Goodie123 (6034) | 7 months ago | Hey Cheese where have you been my friend. No disguising him as light beer will not work. Hubby only drinks light. I may have to stick to the chicken disguise.

| |
mummybec (225) | 7 months ago | I live in Australia.
| |
Goodie123 (6034) | 7 months ago | See Trans that is 2 of us, living in a nation that cannot afford to supply its people with Reeses Peanut Butter Chocolate. Quick call the Red Cross now.
| |
mummybec (225) | 7 months ago | hehehe:) Where are you from Goodie?
| |
Transdisc (12276) | 7 months ago | Wow. This the very rumour I had heard -- that Australia was Reeses Peanut Butter Cup free. That such a thing is true is really beyond my comprehension. I am in shock. Goodie, I shall notify the Red Cross immediately!
| |
Qaeyious (638) | 7 months ago | Maybe we can start a smuggling ring -
| |
Transdisc (12276) | 7 months ago | A smuggling ring, eh? What a great idea!
| |
Goodie123 (6034) | 7 months ago | Oh yeah Mummybec we will be getting Reeses Peanut Butter Chocolate. I am in Queensland. Thank you Trans, tell the red cross I will send up flares when I hear them approaching.
| |
Transdisc (12276) | 7 months ago | Yes, they should be arriving shortly, Goodie. I anticipate no problems whatsoever as I D volunteered to head the operation.
| |
mummybec (225) | 7 months ago | hehehe... when should I expect them???
| |
Goodie123 (6034) | 7 months ago | Goodie Goodie could you bring D, with you also please.

Goodie123 (6034) | 7 months ago | Make sure Pepe doesn't eat the Reeses, I hear donkey barf is not good.
| |
dfn12968 (5595) | 7 months ago | you very well might have just ruined my appetite, goodie!
| |
mummybec (225) | 7 months ago | hmmm do I still want to try them after that comment? hehehe
| |
Goodie123 (6034) | 7 months ago | Oh sorry D, I did not realise you were eating at 10.30 at night.
| |
Goodie123 (6034) | 7 months ago | Oh Mummybec if Pepe only nibbles them they will still be okay.
| |
dfn12968 (5595) | 7 months ago | i'm not....but, if i wanted to go out and get some candy, that would have ruined it for me.:(
| |
Transdisc (12276) | 7 months ago | I'm sure D would sort through the donkey barf to get to the good parts.
| |
dfn12968 (5595) | 7 months ago | hey...i like my reeses, but even i have my limits!:-P
| |

Transdisc (12276) | 7 months ago | By the way, mummybec, welcome to myLot.:) Does Australia have any sort of chocolate and peanut butter candy?
| |
mummybec (225) | 7 months ago | Thanks for the welcome:) There is not any peanut butter & chocolate sweets here as far as I am aware of anyway? They sound nice though...
| |
Transdisc (12276) | 7 months ago | I'm truly saddened by this news, mummybec. Maybe you can try the recipe that peanutjar so generously shared with us.:)
| |
mummybec (225) | 7 months ago | Thankyou for that - I just might have to try it:)
| |
Transdisc (12276) | 7 months ago | It's under response 5.

4. sigma77 (4293) | 7 months ago | Bleck! Reese's cups are too dense and sugary. They don't really taste like peanut better. After eating them, I feel like I have eaten a brick. There are lots better kinds of peanut butter and chocolate products to eat. I think the quality of them has deteriorated over the years. Sorry to break up the party and all, but RPBC's are the pits.
| |
| |
Transdisc (12276) | 7 months ago | Well don't leave me hanging, sigma. What are these other peanut butter and chocolate products of which you speak? Please, I'm begging you to tell me!!
| |
Transdisc (12276) | 7 months ago | Thanks, sigma! I also like chocolate and peanutbutter stirred together!:)
| |
sigma77 (4293) | 7 months ago | If you are feeling really adventurous (and a bit flush with cash) you might try ordering some Lake Champlain PBC's from Vermont. Only $40 for 16 pieces. lol. They are supposed to be worth it.
| |
Transdisc (12276) | 7 months ago | You know I'm going to have to, don't you?
| |
sigma77 (4293) | 7 months ago | Yes. At that price, who can resist? Happy eating!

5. dfn12968 (5595) | 7 months ago | It would be a travesty of gargantuan proportions for someone not to have Reese's Peanut Butter Cups in their part of the world! If there is anyone (I pray not) that comes forward in answer to this discussion saying they don't have them, or any other form of pb/chocolate candy combo, I ask that they please include their address so that I may immediately have some shipped. Thank GOD in my part of the world, we have them in abundance. All different varieties; regular, caramel, crunchy, white chocolate, and even banana!
| |
| |
Goodie123 (6034) | 7 months ago | Well Well Well lookie who is here with all the Reeses chocolates. Do you know what D, we do not have Reeses anything here. We are a very poor country and cannot afford such luxuries as chocolates. Especially Reeses Peanut Butter Chocolate.
| |
dfn12968 (5595) | 7 months ago | I know Goodie, I'm so sorry.:( I truly had no idea of the hardships you have endured living in such a poor nation. I promise I will get some to you ASAP. Pola's donkey is on the fritz, so I cannot have him brink it to you, but maybe you could send the broom and I can send it back with a good supply of candy for you.
| |
Goodie123 (6034) | 7 months ago | Maybe Trans will give you a loan of Pepe, afterall it was he who started this discussion on Reeses Peanut Butter Chocolate.
| |
dfn12968 (5595) | 7 months ago | Yup, he sure is the one who started it. He always has such random ideas. Gets the old wheels in the noggin turning.
| |
peanutjar (2248) | 7 months ago | They are easy to make, you just melt some semi-sweet chocolate chips with some cream in a pot on low heat, when its melted put it in the fridge in a bowl to become firm but enough to mold with a spoon, take out, then scoop a tablespoon or two(depending how thick you want them to be)into cup cake/muffin molds(pans)press the choclate down and around the sides, add some peanut butter, any kind to the middle of it,melt the rest of the chocalate in the dish in a microwave or pot and drop the hot chocolate on top of the peanutbutter to form a top layer then put into the fridge and let it harden some, yum, yum! When you want some, just set it on your counter top or dip the pan into warm water, just the bottom, this will help the choclate not stick to the pan and easier to get out.All done.:)
| |
Goodie123 (6034) | 7 months ago | Yes I notice he has a tendency to do that. He starts a discussion on Reeses Peanut Butter Chocolate, knowing full well we are a poor nation that cannot afford chocolate and ups and disappears.
| |
dfn12968 (5595) | 7 months ago | No, Goodie, I think what he wanted to do was make sure the word got out so the Red Cross would know of your need and send and emergency drop your way ASAP!
| |
dfn12968 (5595) | 7 months ago | Peanut, that is awesome, thank you!! I will be making this very soon.:)
| |
Goodie123 (6034) | 7 months ago | Yes I just noticed he is contacting the red cross. I hope they do not drop them in the creek, I do not want the platypus scared away. And oh not in the chicken coop either, those girls eat everything in sight.
| |
Transdisc (12276) | 7 months ago | Yes, D, such a thing would be a travesty. I cannot imagine such a place.
| |
Goodie123 (6034) | 7 months ago | Looks like D, has run off to make some Peanut Butter Chocolate.
| |
someonesmom (1705) | 7 months ago | You have all of these varieties of Reese's peanut butter cups there, dfn? Wow, I've never even heard of these, and am only aware of the 'originals.'
