have you ever eaten a lime or lemon plain?

hmm..i dont thinks so..not unless you count taking a "bite" of lime with salt and tequila lol! but i do love lime on steak and lemon on chicken!

I alway eat the lemon or lime slices that comes in drinks at the pub. So depending how many cokes or G&T's I have depends on how much fruit I'll consume, lol.

I was raised eating lemons. I eat them kind of like grapefruits. You know, cut them in half and spoon out the sections... expect I have to use a paring knife because spoons are too big.;~D

My kids get lemons in their Christmas stockings.;~D

I have never taken any plain lime or lemon so far. I couldn’t stand the strong sour taste of either of them. Yeah, I agree with you, the acid would be very corrosive for our teeth and is not encouraged to take it alone. I like to add a slice or two of lemon to make a cup of hot tea. It is believed that lemon tea could get rid of excess fats from our body if we take it regularly.

I have tried both on a dare when younger. Neither are favorites in my diet but I do love lemon in tea. Have never tried to eat either with salt or any other additives.

Can recall as a kid watching a weekly program where someone ate a lemon and then tried to play the trumpet..lol Ok, it was funny but I was a kid and anything was funny.

Sometimes, but not very often. I like both lemons and limes, but I think lime is my favorite..:)

From what my parents told me, when I was younger all I wanted to eat was lemon. I wouldn't put anything on it. I wouls just eat it as is. Today I still like lemon but I don't eat it just like that (unless it's in my water at a restaurant). For me to just pick up a lemon and start eating it I must really be craving it.

Yes, we like to eat them sliced or peeled - and the wedges pulled off like an orange. They are very refreshing, and especially limes are favored - with salt or sugar or just as is... they leave such a wonderful scent upon your hands too.

I like to suck on lemon slices, but I've never eaten one.
