Do you - Did you Collect Fisher Price Toys?

My mother always told me to save all the Fisher Price toys that we've purchased over the years because they are a collector's item. I thought that only applied to some of the older toys (before my time). Is that true?

Do you keep old toys your had as a kid or what your children played with to see if they'll be worth something later on?
