On the Run  | |  I have to say I have been following the story of the missing, then murdered marine that has been determined that she died on Dec 15, the day after she last spoke with her family.
Her life was changed, and while it was originally said that she committed suicide the facts and the evidence or pointing to murder, and the person accused in now on the run.
It makes me wonder if there is some truth to her claims that he may have raped her, and he tried to cover up the evidence so that connection would be harder to make...
there have been 'sightings of him', none of them confirmed, but it is obvious he is on the run, and I feel that it will be only time that before he is caught.
And while he claims his innocence, you have to wonder 'if' he was innocent why he is running, now there is a reward leading to his capture.
what makes a person run like this to live a life in hiding, do you think he's going to try to cross the border? Flea the country?

| | | | | | | | 1.  ljegbers (5761) | 2 years ago |  Really, I don't think a life on the run IS living. You see all these stories of people that have lived on the run, they figure 10-15-20 years pass and they're safe, but that's when they get caught.
If he's innocent, why run? Exactly. Even if he came forward with any kind of connection he had to her and claimed he was innocent, it would still cast a shadow of doubt because he ran to begin with.

| | 3.  twoey68 (9683) | 2 years ago |  I think he purposely ran to Mexico knowing that they won't extradite him if we have the option of the death penalty. Basically he got away with murder with just going to prison...he should be getting a tall tree, a short rope and a quick hanging.
