no offense but i would not forgive you so easily either. She wass nice enough to cook for you and what did she get in return? you telling her that she did it wrong. Thats so not right. How could you not even be appreciative of her? I think someone needs to go out and get her some flowers, get her back in your good graces.

Hello! maybe you are the one in the wrong and need to convince yourself to not be so rude and ungrateful. You wife is not a child and you shouldn't think that you entitled to scold her like a slave.

My question to you is, How often do you cook for your wife? since you are so good at cooking and all....

I am also a wife and I hate it when my husband is always complaining my works and did not even know the word appreciate. My husband nags all the time. Even a mess which I cannot clean immediately from the playing of my child he would said that I litter all the time and do not clean up. I am fed up about this. But he would not say sorry for me always it is just when I am deeply hurt with his words or when I cry. But it is not easy to forgive especially if there are bad words. My advice is just do good things for her, like give her a massage or work some of her chores so she will be happy.

I guess the answers above have driven a point to you and me. But it might work if you ask her apology and make some amends like treat her somewhere! Just a suggestion though. You can have your choice of course..

Ouch, nothing like cooking up a dinner and being told it wasn't done properly. My husband tries to make it known when he really likes something. But, even when it is bad he will eat it and just say later, thanks for dinner but that wasn't my favorite recipe you have made before. Usually I know when something I make isn't good so I agree. It will probably take a while to get over this one so good luck! I'd be going to the closest flower/candy shop or spring for a massage to say sorry with.

If she is only a bit angry at you being so very rude you need to count your blessings. You can not convince her. Also you might want to make your own meals until she had gotten over your total lack of respect and common sense. I know that if someone were that nasty to me they would be eating snot rockets for weeks.

Wow! If you bought food at a restaurant and didn't like the way it was cooked, would you scold the waiter? Would you go back into the kitchen and scold the chef? Would you live to tell about it? LOL.

Does your wife scold you when you do not take out the garbage properly or put the air in the tires properly? What exactly do you want to convince her anyway? That you are sorry for yelling at her, or that she should take cooking lessons? Does she have another job in addition to cooking for you? Do you pay her something to cook for you? I dont havee that problem they both usally scarfing there face throughout dinner and I never get any complaints really. but we all make mistakes and mess up or maybe she was just trying something differant. dont down her about it be nice about it and dont make her fill like a child shes not anymore and your her husband not father. you scold a child not your wife. you talk about things. I wouldnt appoligize either in that situation unless you knew that how you handled it hurt me too and then we should both apoligize. Hope you work this out
