|  This is one for all the cat lovers. Max is about 5-7 years old in human terms and he is a complete idiot but a loveable one at that. He came to us as a baby and he used to love sleeping on my right shoulder, he would spend hours there and his favourite past-time was tipping a bucket over, getting inside it and racing around like a mouse on an exercise wheel. Our other cat Boltz is a female tabby and the two of the are both mad, they will be scrapping one moment and then they will be washing each other or curled up together asleep. Max has taken a liking to sitting in high places; first it was a windowsill so he could get the sun, then he found the bench that the toaster is on but he gets sent down from there, follow that with the windowsill above the kitchen bench which is taboo too. Last week he found a posy in the hallway beside my porcelain doll and puppets and tonight we found him on the wicker basket in the hallway; it was too cute to miss so we got a photo of him. Max looks like he is part of our Scottish collection that we have recently started. Hubby is Scottish and we have some bits and pieces that we have found with a Scottish theme, a large teddy bear dressed in a kilt,a small critter dressed in traditional clothing,another small teddy bear in tartan breeks and a tam'o'shanter, a cup with highland cattle and two thistle shaped glass butter dishes that were similar to the ones his mother had from his sister who is in Cupar,Fife. There is also a fridge magnet of the MACLAREN tartan and Coat of Arms (Boars Rock). We are on the lookout for other memorabilia to go with the display. Max looks right at home where he is don't you think.

| | He sure does, and he knows it. This morning it was back to sitting by the toaster and then when he got shooed off there it was on the windowsill in the kitchen again so he got chased off there too. In the end he went outside. Our other cat Boltz loves wherever she can get the warmth, she's part Siamese and goes in places that are warm, hot water cupboard, linen cupboard among the towels and now she has decided to try the back of the fridge so she can get the warmth from the element, silly thing got stuck there the other day and had to be rescued by our daughter.

| | Apparently his mother behaved in the same way, the lady we got Max from said that his mother never grew out of her playful stage. Now Max is just getting cheeky, but we all love him.

| | Hmmmmm, the mind boggles. We had a cat that we used to dress up and push around in a doll's pram when we were little. I think Max would look so cute with a tartan vest on but we could not afford to get one for him at the present time, maybe when the finances improve; some pets are spoiled rotten when we see them on the television,they are obviously cherished family members. Thanks for your response.

| | Yep, he's a brat but we love him. Right now he's being a perfect angel and sitting on my bed having a wash. Thanks for the HUGZ, they are cool and I sure could do with one today, my back is really sore so I am sitting with a hottie against it. It was a bit sore when we went shopping today and gradually got worse, by the time we got to the checkout I was in agony so it was get packed, call a cab, get home,supervise the unpacking, having a drink and some pain relief and go lie down for a while. The hottie is wonderful and gives warmth right on the sore part. I have added you as a friend so if you accept my request I'll chat to you on the boards soon.
