When Watching a Movie at the Theater/ Cinema

You have that problem too? At least at home you can fast forward the damn adverts and trailers. I want to get stuck into the movie but you're left sitting there held in complete suspense and the adverts last longer than when you watch them at home, do you notice that? You sit there for about half an hour bored stiff, you just want the film to start like NOW! You can't even take a crossword puzzle with you, which I do at home when the commercials are on to pass the time away because they turn the lights off! Then when it's about to start you get people coming in and they always choose to sit in front of you, I would love a remote control to fast forward them so they don't interrupt the film!

Yes, I do feel that way before the movie starts, during the intermission and when there are very boring scenes. LOL. With a remote control I can save time by just skipping all these nuisances!

No i cant say as i have.. But i dont go to the theater very often, And i bet it will be a long time before i am able to go again!

In this small town we have this theater, called the circle theater. . It's prob 100 years old, and they people who run it only buy rights to play movies like JUST before they come out to dvd, so you can download and watch them before you could see them in that theater!! lol.

I do not go the Cinema, but I can imagine it would be easy to do.
Reaching for the remote to rewind, turn the sound up or down.
Man that would be so funny, I could just see someone forgetting they had their remote in their pocket and upon finding it trying to turn the sound up.

In truth, soon after we got TIVO we stopped going to movies, that and the whole cell phone bit. If I had paid what movies cost today and some idiot sat in front of me yapping away on a cellphone, I'd be too tempted to yank it out of his or her hand and brain him or her with it.

Nopers, me and hubby wwould rather sit home in our jammies and zip past all of the stupid commercials.

I can't recall this happening to me, but it's been a while since I've been to the movies, and I also watch very little TV so I don't often use a remote.

I'll tell you what, though. Sometimes I wish I could reach for a remote and use it to shut the people up in front of or behind me. There is nothing worse than yappers at the movie theater.

Oh, sometimes I also wish I had remote to control the lighting. It's too bright for me sometimes.

Oh, and if there was a remote that could transport me to the restroom without missing the movie, I would love that.

Ohhh, ohhhh...and a remote to adjust my seat and make it higher so that I can see above the tall people who inevitably always sit in front of me.

I find myself adjusting seat, so I can get better legs position...my legs are getting numb with limited sitting...I guess I am spoiled...

I don't go to movies very often, but I'd like to be able to turn the sound down on some. I find them quite loud. I've never actually reached for a remote, but having one sounds like a good idea, as long as I'm 'the only one' with the remote. Otherwise, everyone would be 'outclicking me.' I guess this wouldn't really work, come to think of it ... me being the only one I mean.

No, I can't say that I have done this.

I have been to the local small race track and after an accident..I'm thinking I'll see it again...no, that's right...that's tv, not real life...there isn't any replays in real life.

No, LOL. But I have stood up to get the attention of the guy in the back running the movie. It was just me and a friend, but the sound was blasting so loud! So I stood up and he saw me gesture with my hands over my ears, 'mock' screaming. He turned the volume down.
