|  A man attacked 6 people in a shopping mall including a woman who was pregnant, he approached the woman and talking to her attacked her with a hockey stick for no reasons.
the man was detained under the mental health act and it will be determined if he can or will stand trial,
I can't imagine what a person was thinking but I am thankful it wasn't worse,
All the people had minor injuries including the pregnant lady and were treated and released from the hospital.

wow! oh my gosh! wouldn't that be just awful if you were shopping at the mall and got attacked by some man with a hockey stick? i am so thankful to hear that he did not kill anybody in his wild persuit with his hockey stick. and that poor pregnant lady, she very well could have lost her baby due to this man hitting her with a hockey stick.
and no, i do not think that this man will even make it to court if he has a mental illness that made him do this kind of thing in the first place. and i do not think that he will suffer any kind of consequences whatsoever. he might get checked back into the mental hospital or somewhere like that for awhile.

| |  He should be found competent to stand up to charges. Things are getting out of hand now days with everyone hollering "mental illness".
Some of those people need to watch 20-20 tonight, it is about people being angry.

| |  I am not bother with him being competent or not. this man has some form of problem. This is just not something you hear everyday. He attacked people for some reason or the other. I feel he should be kept in the mental ward for treatment. Jail is not going to help this man. Prison is the worst place to send crazy people. That was just too darn crazy to hear. As we are sure to know everyday on my lot. There is a lot of crazy in this world.

| |  I don't know about competent..but I personally would rather go up against a hockey stick then a gun. He must have had some kind of problem. Prison is not the place for a person who is mentally ill. Either way I hope he gets the help he needs.
