If space travel were widly available would you be interested? | | | | If it were widely AND affordable to the general public would you be interested in traveling to the moon or any other planet for that matter? And if we did have buildings available where we could live in them would you move to the Moon, Mars, Venus or any other planet or would you rather stay here on Earth, and why? Personally space travel holds no interest for me, I have a hard enough time keeping my feet firmly planted on the ground here on Earth! | | Space Travel | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |

| | I suppose I spoke too soon by saying I'm not interested in space travel because I too would be interested in flying around the Earth and seeing what it looks like from way up there! I agree with you about people often not seeing their own country, so many don't. I am American by birth and I have seen every state of the Union many times and did so before I ventured out of it. Of course now I don't live there but live in The Netherlands which is a beautiful country also. Thanks for the response. | | | | CanuckPrince (268)

| | I am very fortunate. Traveling is so great, as a kid my parents use to take driving vacations and much of our family lived so far away so I was able to see it all...many times! Every state has it's good points. Colorado is beautiful and me being a Cali girl from Los Angeles, of course I love it. I especially love the fact that it has everything. Beaches, mountains, desserts anything you want within a decent driving distance. I've seen some parts of Canada and I really liked every place that I saw. Europe is great for me because of the history and the historic buildings. Over here they don't tear down all of the old buildings to build new all of the time. I live in the oldest city in The Netherlands and it's nothing to see a building from the 1200's!! Thanks for responding again, sorry it took so long to get back, I didn't get an email telling me of your 2nd response, or if I did I missed it! | | | | CanuckPrince (268)

| | s'all good i wasnt around to see you respond to my response!! haha been busy with life! id love to visit europe for that very reason, the historic buildings.. my dream job would be to design and watch over the construction of large structures such as buildings and bridges etc.. i really love looking at old buildings especially.. castles amaze me to no end also! id so love to explore scotland and other countries in europe that have lots of castles to see.. and thats awesome you live in the oldeset building! i used to live in a building in halifax that is one of the original buildings of halifax.. it survived the halifax explosion in the early 1900s, which wiped out most of halifax and half of dartmouth, nova scotia its not as old as your building of course but its older than a lot of buildings in canada | | | | sagesunicorn (652)

| | You would love it here there are so many castles. I know that sometimes the old has to be knocked down to make room for the new but it always seems to be such a waste to me. If we knock them all down then there goes our history and once it's lost then it's lost forever. In America you hardly ever see old buildings...I guess they think old is bad and new is good but then people don't get to see how it really was they can only imagine. And what really makes no sense to me is that half of the time after they tear down something that is somewhat old then they go back and make a replica of the same thing!!! What a waste! I guess that's why I'm in seventh heaven here being able to see the old whenever I want to. | | | | | | | #1 FLIGHT SIMULATOR 2012 MS Flight Simulator Can't Compete! 120+ Aircraft, More! www.ProFlightSim.com | add comment | | | |
