replacement parts for SONY laptop

Is is true that SONY laptops only work with original sony batteries?

There are compatible batteries in the market that work just fine. Look for 100% OEM Compatible sticker it should give more assurance the products delivers. What might happen it's a short duration that the original Sony although some sellers guarantee that top standards are followed.
