1.  Modestah (7288) | 7 months ago |  I think this is the best movie of all time and anxiously waited for it to come on television each spring when I was a child. I can recall the first time I saw it and my father's words encouraging me to sit down and watch it that day. my children now enjoy it.
though, I am not sure I can name them all... I do love the name Marta so that one I remember let me see what else I can do:
1. Marta
2. Gretel (hope spelling doesn't count)
3. Leezel
4. Franz or is it hans?
5. Friedrich
augh, I can envision the other 2 girls but their names are not coming to me at the moment.

Yes you're right LiezL, Friedrich, Marta and GretL... but that's just 4 of them... German names are really hard to spell...

| 5. drannhh (4432) | 6 months ago |  I can't even name ONE of them, but I can remember some of their sweet little faces, and unlike some people I know who actually paid to go see that movie in a theater up to 16 times, I've only seen it once. I was an elementary teacher at the time, and with 52 kids in my 5th grade class and no TA, I could sympathize with that governess.

The songs are ageless and the ensemble cast line is terrific. However, having said this, except for Martha, I cannot remember any other name!! This is sad! I must memorise it today.
