Woman to get evicted for playing her Dolly Parton Music  

I dont see why the woman was evicted for just playing her records because it is a free country that we live in now and I was always under the assumption that whenever you rented or bought a place from someone that as long as their music wasn't up too too loud that they could play and sing whatever they wanted to..that would be like saying you can get evicted for watching tv....I dont think that was legal what they did at all and I wouldn't evict my neighbor for playing her dolly parton records because like i said it is a free country!

I can't for the life of me understnad this. I am just thinking it was because it was loud. But anyhow I would have stopped from the first notice. I don't like prison and would not want to go there.

I know just how bad it feels to be evicted. I was thrown out of my apt when my daughter was three. And not for this stuff either. I do feel she deserves what she id getting. Not wishing her bad. But she was forewarned and still did the very thing she knew was wrong.

She has kids to model her life for. That was not the best thing to show her kids. That following rules is not for her but for all else on earth.

My neighbor don't play tht loud tv any more. I can hear them screaming at the kids. But that is not my problem. No one is bothering me lately.

Those were attatched houses so the sound reverberated through the walls. I know what that is like. I had never lived like that until I had to sell my boat and move into an Apt.

I have a neighbor that lives two apts. away and downstairs. With my windows closed I can hear the drumbeats of her music. On the weekends she will play her music all day and into the night. I know it is different songs because if you go outside or open the windows you can hear the tune. But it is cold so the windows are closed and all I here is the same drumbeat constantly, because she listens to the same type of music constantly. It is like the old Chinese water torture or something.

She drinks a bit. By Monday she does not remember a thing. But on Fri. afternoon it starts all over again. Tomorrow is Fri. Oh Joy!

I do know what those neighbors were going through. It can drive you nuts!!!!

This one has me stumped. I did not see anywhere in the article where it stated what hours this occured. Was it daytime, night time or both? I know where I live there is a noise ordinance, during the week there is no loud noise allowed in the city after 10pm and on the weekends no loud noise 11pm I think, I don't think it is midnight. It sounds like maybe this is a type of place where they have to live by certain rules to be in the neighborhood. If that is the case then yes, she should have done as they asked.

That is really crazy. I can't believe they can do that.

Kinda like what happened to my previous neighbors... but their case was like constant noise all day and all night, a burglary, heartache, and school worries...they were college students who doesn't know when to stop... until the landlord kicked them out of the apartment... they of coursed blamed me for that because i was their nearest neighbor... but they don't seem to understand that the noise they constantly create can be heard up to the next street...

But nevertheless... good riddence to them... and i hope the lady just stopped listening to that music and got herself a life...

First of all. Ewe. I really dispise country music. I know a lot of people like it but if I were forced to listen to it for long periods of time i would go batty. I think this is fine. They are really just giving her a warning notice. I think that is fair. I mean if she's only playing it a bit.. or not very loud then it is unfair. However there are rules... which she probably signed when she moved in.

Yes, if I were facing eviction, I would definitely simply obey the rules. rules are rules. I suspect that it was not just the type of music that she listened to but the fact that it was being played loud enough to bother the neighbors.

Hi mooch! I think if my neighbor will be playing the same kind of music over and over again, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week...Gosh that would be really unbearable and so annoying. I have nothing against people who love to play music but to play it loud enough for neighbors to be disturbed and annoyed, I guess that is very inconsiderate and so unselfish. I just hope she had been more considerate and respectful of other people so it didn't have come to this. Just sad somehow! Take care and have a nice day! :)
