| Are you Celebrating Mardi Gras?  | | | |  Happy Fat Tuesday, everyone! I'm celebrating in style this year... not in NOLA itself, but lots of other things. We went all out this year and bought masks, beads, a King Cake, decorations, etc. It's been great!
We already had one celebration with the cake and Po' Boy sandwiches on Sunday (and red beans & rice) and I made Jambalaya for tonight's dinner and had my Doughtnut Day doughnut this morning.
I even caught one of the Mardi Gras parades on a New Orleans live cam this afternoon.

| | Hey, go for it! Sounds like a lot of fun. I was amazed to find that my supermarket had King Cakes for sale at the bakery. I never noticed before, and it was even over Super Bowl Sunday, so I really didn't think I'd find any.
