For me, well, I don't really put a lot of weight into the saying but it is nice to tell kids if they are trying something new and aren't getting the hang of it. Then again, The forth, fifth and sixth time can also be .. 'the charm'.

I have had 3 major relationships in my life- my ex husband, my ex boyfriend and baby's dad, and my old friend turned new love of my life. In fact he has always been the absolute love of my life but just recently things happened for us. He is an amazing man and the third "love" relationship I have had..He, I realize now is the only man who I ever truly loved and it took the other two for me to see it. The way I put it to people- he's my forever guy.

6.  sparkster (118) | 4 months ago |  Here in the UK the saying is 'third time lucky' just like 'if at first you don't succeed then try and try again' which kind of implies that you'll get it right the third time. I guess you learn from your mistakes the first two times!
