Why is the Media Biased toward Candidates and for Demorcats  email this discussion to a friend?

myLot reputation of 93/100. Celanith (2274) 5 years ago

I have been watch the news and the polls sent out by CNN and FOX and other news sources. First the POLLS they use are extremely biased and favor the Democratic party. Second in the Republican Poll they totally and deliberately left RON Paul off the polling question on who someone would vote for. Third they banned Ron Paul his freedom of Speech and the Press which violates the first Amendment of our constitution when they had the political debate. Why is the Media so afraid of RON PAUL? In yesterdays Washingto Caucus reports they are saying McCain is winning and far ahead when that is a total lie. Ron Paul has a lot more than the 20% the Media is reporting and it is McCain not Paul who is trailing and has especially in Eastern Washington State which makes up the bulk of Washington State and Counties. Only 87% of the count is in and the media is saying McCain wins. Why is the media lying, reporting half truths and spreading yellow journalism and why do they NOT want the PEOPLE to see what RON PAUL is about and has to say? Check out his issues and website and if you have not voted or been to a caucus yet reconsider strongly. I am an independant and I vote Ron Paul because he makes sense. What do you think.

I think if Ron Paul wants more attention he should tell his supporters to actually vote for him. There's no grand conspiracy to keep him out of the White House. He can be popular as h*ll on the net but if these people don't vote of course he'll be ignored. He's lucky they still let him go to the debates. Kucinich and Gravel were banned awhile ago because like Paul they have no chance of winning anything.

Huckabee is lucky he's still getting coverage, barring a heart attack your nominee (if you're voting Republican) is McCain and if he's elected we'll be in Iraq for another 100 years and we will probably go to war with Iran while were at it.

First of all I am not a Republican I am an Independant. I vote across party lines for whoever I feel is best no matter what party they stand for. This time I favor Ron Paul Second Ron Paul is asking people to vote for him. He has paid for ads on T.V and radio. In the papers. Some papers refused to take his ad, some Networks are not running his ads as much as he paid them too. It is deliberate and Like I said IF YOU read it FOX, CNN and others banned him from the political debate the let Romney, McCain and Huckabee in on. This is wrong.

Have you even bothered to know what he is about. Maybe your a hard core dyed in the wool democrat or libetarian I don't know but Ron Paul wants America back to the roots of our forefathers. Many young people do to and they are watching and many are for Ron Paul not McCain and not Huckabee.

Paul has been at every debate I have watched with the Republicans in it. There's no conspiracy you sound ridiculous.

I have never heard one comercial for Paul, he has more money than many people I have heard comercials from. It muct be the networks taking his money but not airing his comercials, are you kidding me???

If that's so then Paul could sue the networks for taking his money.

And I don't know if you know this but Ron Paul is a Republican. If you vote for him you are voting in the Republican Primary.

I am an independent and I'm tired of talking to Paul supporters who tell me they don't vote because it won't count anyway because of the big conspiracy. Well guess what, if you don't vote it doesn't count. You guys sound crazier than Dennis Kucinich. Suck it up and go to the polls, well actually now its too late, maybe in 4 more years right?

I've never heard of him. Seriously!! He needs to put some money into advertising if he wants to make a name for himself and gain support.

And don't bother accusing me of being a Democrat or Republican. I'm an Independent, just like you.

Paul is so popular because he is so stringently against the Iraq War, but 90%+ of his followers know nothing else about him and many of them promote anarachy and think there's a huge conspiracy against Paul. I'm tired of hearing it. They must vote if they want Paul to get some coverage.

I don't see Mike Gravel followers claiming conspiracy and he's had it worse than Paul

I've heard of Ron Paul and think he has some good ideas. I don't think he is going to win and it seems like voting for him is throwing away your vote. I'm not too enthused about any of the candidates.

Ron himself said he is going back to Texas to work on his Congressional campaign, so it sounds to me that he is pretty much giving up on his Presidential aspirations for now. I KNOW his campaign wants to portray that differently but that's the way it is. He doesn't want to lose his Congressional post as he KNOWS he doesn't have a chance of winning the Presidency.

I am a registered independent. But, I would totally vote for Ron Paul. Unfortunately, he announced the other day that he was quitting. Do you really want to know the real reason why he's not on any polls? Let's see. He wants to completely change the country for good. Wanting to get rid of the IRS. And other branches of the government that we totally do not need. Do you really think that everyone who still wants their job, want you, the voter to vote for him? No. I think I read somewhere that people had voted for him in some preliminary thing and the people who counted the votes, "accidentally" left him out of the results.. Saying that he had received 0. When in fact, he had several. Makes you wonder..

Hmm - as a Brit watching from the putside I am surprised you say Fox is biased towards the Democrats. Fox are usually regarded as very Pro-Republican.

What is true is that McCain is miles ahead. But we can only hope we get a Democrat - preferably Obama - in the White House this time. I think America and the ret of the world need this

jennym (14)  5 years ago

I agree with you that Fox News is very pro Republican. I'm leaning toward Obama also as someone who IS electable and can restore respect to America's image overseas.

Well if you like Ron Paul, and you think he would be a good President, then by all means vote for him. It's our right to vote as we choose, and maybe your guy can get elected. :)
