man sells stolen helmet to owner on Ebay  

I think the guy was probably lying. If you found a custom made helmet most people would turn it in to the police or try to find the owner, not turn around and sell it on ebay. how ironic that the guy had his helmet stolen and then found it on ebay lol.

If he is lying, he has to be the dumbest thief out there! Of course, he probably thought the odds of the owner looking in ebay for a helmet were not high! It's possible the real thief could have tossed the helmet somewhere and the seller saw it and thought he could make a buck. It happens.

How much of a chance that the owner would be searching ebay. That is so funny. I guess he is getting a rude awakening. There is no way I would put something stolen on there.

I know around my town people usually look at the pawn shops to see if their stolen items are there but looks like people need to start checking out ebay for them. That is one lucky guy that will be getting his helmet back. I would not steal anything and if I ever lost my mind and did I for sure would not sell it like that.

why would you go onto a site like ebay and sell something that you stole in the first place. that does not make any sense at all.
it seemed to have worked out in the man's favor who had his helmet stolen in the first place.
i am glad that he got his helmet back and i hope that it is in good condition

Strike one up for another idiot. If the thief wanted to sell the helmet on ebay, he should of waited at least a year so his chances were next to nil of being caught. What a nimwit.
